St Patricks Day Parade
All roads lead to Fenagh Village on St Patricks Day where the St Patrick Day Parade starts at 2pm sharp. Given the success of last years parade this years parade is eagerly awaited by everyone .Guaranteed to a great day out for both young and old.
Handball News
Peter Heaney – Presidents Award
TG4 will be showing live the Presidents Awards on Friday night from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. This programme will be of particular interest in that Peter Heaney will be presented with an award on the night by the President for his outstanding services to Handball. Best of luck to Peter on his special night. TG4 were filming in the Handball Alley on Friday night last and did an interview with Peter Heaney and also filmed up to 50 children playing handball in the Alley. Some of this recording will be shown on TG4 on Friday night as well.
A Date for your diary:- The Official Opening of the Handball Alley will take place on Sunday 6th May. More details to follow.
All Ireland Minor Handball Final:– Best of luck to Donal Wrynn who is competing in the All Ireland Minor Handball Final in St Colmans Roscommon on Saturday 24th March. This final is ticket only so anyone wishing to purchase a ticket please contact any of the Fenagh Handball Committee
Fundraiser – Fenagh St Caillins National School
Attention all Ladies, you don’t have to lose weight to look good!. It is not what you wear but how you wear it. No Matter what size, shape or age you are, with a few helpful tips, you will feel more confident about yourself. Wear the right colour of clothes. Look 10 years younger . Image Consultant Jeanette Kelly will give a talk and presentation in the Abbey Bar, Fenagh on Saturday 24th March 2012 at 8:30pm. Admission €10. Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup is now enrolling for September. We cater for children aged 2 years 10 months up to 5 years. We also provide places under the ECCE scheme. If your child is starting school in September 2013 and was born between 02/02/2008 and 30/06/2009, they are entitled to avail of the FREE pre-school year. Line Dancing Classes
Line dancing classes are held in Fenagh Visitor Centre on this Wednesday evening 29th of February from 8.30pm to 9.30pm with Sarah Mulligan from Mohill. €5 per class. All is welcome to come along and join in on this fun fitness session.

The Fenagh Visitors Centre Open all year round- (WiFi Cafe, Kids Indoor Soft Play Area, and Heritage Centre) will be open from Tuesday 20th March 2012 to Friday 23rd March 2012 from 10am – 5:30 pm and on Saturday 24th March and Sunday 25th March 2012 from 12noon until 5:30pm.
