 Fenagh Handball Fundraising Draw

Fenagh Handball Club has launched a fundraising draw with some great prizes on offer.

1st prize is a 1 week Holiday for 2 people in Dubai, flights and accommodation included.

2nd & 3rd Prizes – trip for 2 people to see Manchester United in old Trafford, flights and accommodation also included. Draw will take place on the 27th October 2012.

Tickets are available from any committee member and are €10 each.

 Connacht Junior 60X30 Championships 

In the Connacht Junior B Championships which were held in Colloney and Ballymote last weekend. Well done to Eoin McLoughlin and James Wrynn who won the Boys under 11 doubles and to Oisin McLoughlin who won the Boys under 12 singles championship.

Also well done to the rest of the handballers who took part and  putting in great  performances . They were Tony Simms, Michael Wrynne, David Wrynn and Fergal McLoughlin.

Fenagh Temperance Hall –100 Years Old

October 25th 2012 will mark the 100th birthday of the building we now know as Fenagh Visitor Centre.  The building was first opened on October 25th 1912.  It closed during the 1950s and was refurbished and re-opened as Fenagh Visitor Centre on July 23rd 2005.  To commemorate the building’s long history we are hoping to hold a celebration in the hall in October to celebrate this milestone.  If you would like to share any photos, items, stories or memories from the hall over the years please get in contact with the centre as soon as possible.  Aerobic /Fitness Classes

Aerobic /fitness classes continue in Fenagh Community Centre on Monday evenings 8-9pm sharp. All levels and abilities welcome.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round- (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café).  It is open Mon Sept 24th to Fri Sept 28th 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun Sept 29th & 30th from 12 noon-5.30pm this week. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’ . Free internet access (Wi-Fi) and local newspapers available to all customers. Fenagh Down Through the Years we are looking for any old photos/documents/items depicting life in and around Fenagh down through the years — if you or a relative/neighbour/friend have any of these items you would like to donate, we would love to display them here in the Centre or take a copy of your photo, so have a good rummage and see what you might find in the bottom of a long forgotten drawer or cupboard!

Fenagh Active Age Group

Fenagh Active Age Group will meet on Tuesday September 25th in Fenagh Visitor Centre at 8pm.  We are looking forward to seeing all our members after our Summer break.  New members always welcome

Community Outreach Digital Switchover Programme
