Fenagh Handball Fundraising Draw
Fenagh Handball Club has launched a fundraising draw with some great prizes on offer.
1st prize is a 1 week Holiday for 2 people in Dubai, flights and accommodation included.
2nd & 3rd Prizes – trip for 2 people to see Manchester United in old Trafford, flights and
accommodation also included. Draw will take place on the 27th October 2012.
Tickets are available from any committee member and are €10 each.

Fenagh Temperance Hall – Celebration Evening October 19 th
October 25th 2012 will mark the 100th year of the building we now know
as Fenagh Visitor Centre. The building was first opened on October 25th
1912. It closed during the 1950s and was refurbished and re-opened as
Fenagh Visitor Centre on July 23rd 2005. To commemorate the building’s
long history we will be holding a celebration evening on Friday October19th
at 7pm. All welcome. If you would like to share any photos, items, stories
or memories from the hall over the years please get in contact with the
Centre as soon as possible. You can call us on 071 9645590 or email us

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round- (Heritage Centre, Indoor
Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). It is open Mon
Oct 16thth to Fri Oct 21st 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun Oct 22nd and 23rd
from 12 noon-5.30pm this week. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’ .
Free internet access (Wi-Fi) and local newspapers available to all customers.

on historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and events, Monk’s Den playtime and

Aerobic /Fitness Classes
Aerobic /fitness classes continue in Fenagh Community Centre on Monday
evenings 8-9pm sharp. All levels and abilities welcome.

Fenagh Down Through the Years – we are looking for any old photos/
documents/items depicting life in and around Fenagh down through the years
— if you or a relative/neighbour/friend have any of these items you would like
to donate, we would love to display them here in the Centre or take a copy
of your photo, so have a good rummage and see what you might find in the
bottom of a long forgotten drawer or cupboard!

Community Outreach Digital Switchover Programme
Are focussing on ensuring that those who are least likely to
make the switchover to a digital television service will be
enabled to do so before the switching off of the analogue signal
