Golden Jubilee Presentation
To mark the occasion of Fr Tommie Greenan’s Golden Jubilee in the priesthood, the Parish Pastoral Council will make a presentation to Fr. Tommie in the community centre after Mass on Saturday next 3rd November. Light refreshments will be served and all are invited to come along.

Halloween Disco
There will be a Halloween Kiddies Disco for 5-11 year olds on Friday November 2nd from 7-9pm in the Monk’s Den. Prizes on the night for best costumes.

Alzheimer Society
Annual church gate collection takes place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th November . All monies collected will be used locally to help continue services at our day centre. Please support

Congratulations to the Fenagh Gortlettragh team who captured the 15 a side Minor Championship on Saturday last in a pulsating final win over St Manachans. Well done lads, a memorable day.

Fenagh Handball Fundraising Draw
The Fenagh Handball Fundraising draw took place on Saturday night last in the
Abbey Bar. The winner of the first prize – 1 week holiday in Dubai, flights and
accommodation included – Enda Beirne, Headfort, Drumsna.
2nd prize – trip for 2 people to see Manchester United in Old Trafford – Michael
Heeran, Aghaboniel. 3rd prize – trip for 2 people to see Manchester United at Old Trafford – Cathal Keilty, Drumshanbo. Fenagh Handball Club wish to thank everyone who supported them in what was a very successful draw.

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round- (Heritage Centre, Indoor

Friday Nov 9thfrom 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun Nov 10th and 11th from 12 noon-5.30pm this week. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’ . Free internet access (Wi-Fi) and local newspapers available to all customers. Fenagh Down Through the Years – we are looking for any old photos/
documents/items depicting life in and around Fenagh down through the years — if you or a relative/neighbour/friend have any of these items you would like
to donate, we would love to display them here in the Centre or take a copy
of your photo, so have a good rummage and see what you might find in the
bottom of a long forgotten drawer or cupboard!

Floral Pride 2012
Fenagh Visitor Centre won first prize in the Best Business Display Category at last week’s Floral Pride Awards in Carrick on Shannon. A special word of thanks to Peter, Oliver and Patrick for having the place looking so well for the competition. Congratulations to all involved and well done to all the other winners on the night.

Aerobic /Fitness Classes
Aerobic /fitness classes continue in Fenagh Community Centre on Monday
evenings 8-9pm sharp. All levels and abilities welcome.

Ceili Dancing in Gorvagh
Ceile dancing continues in Gorvagh Community Centre on Monday night 5th Nov from 8:30pm. All welcome for an enjoyable nights entertainment.
