St Vincent De Paul Collection
St Vincent De Paul will be holding their Annual Christmas Collection at
St Mary’s church Foxfield on this Saturday 8th December and Sunday 9th
December. Your support would be greatly appreciated in these very difficult
times.

Deepest Sympathy
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Matthew Greenan,
Corrophort who died at the weekend. May he rest in peace.

Santa Claus visiting Fenagh
Santa Claus will be switching on the Christmas lights this Saturday evening
in the village at 5:30pm. Santa will then be handing out presents to all the
children in McLoughlin’s Lounge afterwards.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round- (Heritage Centre, Indoor
Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). It is open
Mon Dec 10th to Friday Dec 14th from 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun
Dec 15th and 16th from 12 noon-5.30pm this week. Follow us on Face
book ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Free internet access (Wi-Fi) and local newspapers
available to all customers. Also visit our website at www.fenagh.com which
features lots of information on historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and
events, Monk’s Den playtime and birthday rates and other facilities on offer.

Fenagh Visitor Centre – What’s On in December
Tuesdays – Yoga with Malo 11am, Active Age 8pm
Wednesdays – Hip Hop with Charlene Mulligan 5.15pm for u5’s, 6.15pm for
Over 5’s
Thursdays – Parent & Toddler Group 10am-noon, Yoga with Malo 8pm
Fridays – Parent & Toddler Group 10am-noon

Fenagh Down Through the Years – we are looking for any old photos/
documents/items depicting life in and around Fenagh down through the years
— if you or a relative/neighbour/friend have any of these items you would like
to donate, we would love to display them here in the Centre or take a copy
of your photo, so have a good rummage and see what you might find in the
bottom of a long forgotten drawer or cupboard!

Christmas Food Hamper Draw – 1 euro per line, winner will be drawn Monday Dec18th

Christmas Floral Arrangement Class
There will be a Christmas Floral Arrangement Class held in Fenagh Visitor
Centre (weather permitting) on Friday Dec 21st at 7.30pm. This is an ideal
opportunity to make a floral arrangement for your Christmas table, hallway
etc. Entry 5 euro per person, light refreshments served. Florist will supply
fresh flowers which can be purchased on the night. If you have any greenery
(ivy,brambles,holly), a favourite bowl or dish, candles, etc you would like to
use in your arrangement please bring along or florist will have supplies with

Table Quiz
Fenagh Development Annual Table Quiz will take place on Friday 28th December in the Abbey Bar in aid of the Christmas Activities.

Drama – Acorn Players in Gorvagh
A great night’s entertainment put on by the Acorn Players in Gorvagh recently.
The 3 Act Comedy “The two loves of Gabriel Foley”. Well worth going to, hilariously funny and highly recommended.

Ceile dancing continues in Gorvagh Community Centre on Monday night 11th Dec from 8:30pm. All welcome for an enjoyable nights entertainment.
