St Caillins National School
“Enrolment of Infants for the 2013-2014 school year will begin on Monday, March 4th. Forms can be collected from the school office from 9.30am to 2.45 pm. Please return to the school(by hand or post) before 2.45pm on Tuesday, March 12th.”

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). It is open Mon March 4th to Friday March 8th from 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun March 9/10th from 12 noon-5.30pm. Free internet access (Wi-Fi) and local newspapers available to all customers. Also visit our website at www.fenagh.com which features lots of information on  historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and events, Monk’s Den playtime and  birthday rates and other facilities on offer. Wednesdays – Hip Hop with Charlene Mulligan 5.15pm for u5’s, 6.15pm for
Over 5’s, Gardening class 7.30-9.30pm
Thursdays – Parent & Toddler Group 10am-12 noon, Yoga with Malo 7/
Fridays – Parent & Toddler Group 10am-12 noon, Bum and Tums Class

Spring Promotion
Spring is in the air and to celebrate Fenagh Visitor Centre are offering discounted rates on Birthdays and the PlayArea. 20% off all birthday parties booked Mon-Thursday during Feb and March. Hourly Playtime Mon, Tues and
Wed 1 child/3 euro, 2/6 euro, 3/8 euro, 4/10 euro. Free drink for all kids. Tea/

Get Colouring and Win a Birthday Party!
Due to a printing error our colouring competition did not appear in last week’s
edition as advertised.  The competition is still open and will appear in Kids  Corner in the March 1st issue with a new closing date of March 8th. You can also pick up an entry form here at the Centre or download from the website  (www.fenagh.com) or Facebook (fenaghvisitorcentre).  First prize is a birthday party for up to 10 children, 3 runner up prizes of free passes to the indoor play area. Apologies for any confusion.

Fitness and Fun Classes for Females
Fitness and fun classes for females continue on a Monday night in Fenagh Community Centre at 8pm. All abilities and levels catered for! Why not come along, give it a try and shape up for the summer.

Ceili Dancing – Gorvagh
Ceili Dancing in Gorvagh Community Centre on Monday 4th March starting at
8:30pm. All welcome for a great nights entertainment.

Fenagh Down Through the Years – we are looking for any old photos/
documents/items depicting life in and around Fenagh down through the years
— if you or a relative/neighbour/friend have any of these items you would like
to donate, we would love to display them here in the Centre or take a copy
of your photo, so have a good rummage and see what you might find in the
bottom of a long forgotten drawer or cupboard!

Book Launch
Inez Mc Padden is launching her first book “My Angels and Me” in Mulveys, Main Street, Carrick on Shannon on the 9th of March at 4 sharp.
