Fenagh Community Centre Development – Fundraiser

The Acorn Players will be putting on their play “The two loves of Gabriel Foley” in Fenagh Community Centre on Friday 12th April starting at 8:45pm. (Please note change of time). This is a fundraiser for the development of Fenagh Community Centre. The grant received of €334,000 represents 75% of the cost of the development. Tickets are €10 for adults and €5 for children under 16. They can be purchased on the night or beforehand in the Visitors Centre, McLoughlins Gala Express, Abbey Bar or any committee member. Come along on the night for a great nights entertainment. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). It is open Mon April 8th to Friday April 12th from 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun April 13th/
14th from 12 noon-5.30pm. Free internet access (Wi-Fi) and local newspapers

Also visit our website at www.fenagh.com which features lots of information on historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and events, Monk’s Den playtime and birthday rates and other facilities on offer. Mondays – Oil painting with Noreen Gaffney 8-10pm
Tuesdays – Active Age 8pm
Thursdays – Parent & Toddler Group 10am-12 noon, Hip Hop U5s 5.15pm,
Over 5’s 6pm, Yoga with Malo 7/8.30pm
Fridays – Parent & Toddler Group 10am-12 noon, Bum and Tums Class

Fenagh Down Through the Years – we are looking for any old photos/
documents/items depicting life in and around Fenagh down through the years
— if you or a relative/neighbour/friend have any of these items you would like
to donate, we would love to display them here in the Centre or take a copy
of your photo, so have a good rummage and see what you might find in the
bottom of a long forgotten drawer or cupboard!

Swimming lessons
Adults one to one and childrens group and one to one swimming lessons commencing in the Lough Allen Hotel, Drumshanbo. Childrens group lessons take place on a Tuesday evening and Saturday morning, €60 for 6 weeks, 8 children per class, 45 minutes per class. Adults and children’s one to one take place on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evening, €110 for 6 weeks, 45minute classes. Discount for more than 2 children per family. Weight Loss
Gwen Fitzgibbon Nutritional Therapist specialising in Weight Loss will resume
her classes in Cloone Community Centre, Cloone on the 8th of April at 7.30 and 8.00. Cost €7. Contact Gwen on 087 1432733 for further info.

Aloe Vera Forever Living Products
There will be an information coffee morning on Aloe Vera Forever Living Products in Fenagh Visitor Centre on Tuesday April 23rd at 11am – 2 euro entry. If you suffer from asthma, skin conditions, digestive problems, low energy levels or if you are interested in a general good tonic or a natural detox and weight loss programme please come along. Beginners Guitar Lessons for Women
Learn to play guitar and play songs you like in a relaxed and friendly group setting – 10 euro per class/1 hour. Contact Jane at 087 4165614 – dates and times to be confirmed. Venue: Fenagh Visitor Centre

Choir Fundraiser
The Co Leitrim Sweet Spirit Country and Gospel Choir based in Mohill and under the musical direction of Tish Dunleavy will be staging their show in the Cornmill Theatre, Carrigallen on Friday April 12th 2013 at 8.30pm. Proceeds from this show will be donated to two very deserving organisations – Stop Suicide and Leitrim Multiple Sclerosis. Keep Friday April 12th free to come along and support the work of these two great organisations while at the same time enjoy this great singing group. Fitness and Fun Classes for Females
Fitness and fun classes for females continue on a Monday night in Fenagh Community Centre at 8pm. All abilities and levels catered for! Why not come along, give it a try and shape up for the summer.
