All Ireland Scor
Best of luck to the Senior Scor Set Dancers who will be competing in the All Ireland Scor Finals at the weekend. Best of luck to : Martin Doonan, Ronan Ellis, Shane McHugh, Seamus McWeeney, Jeanette Leyden, Adeline McWeeney, Michelle McLoughlin and Ashling O’Rourke and their mentors Eileen Doonan and Teresa Ellis.

Ladies Registration
Registration for all players will take place in the Community Centre after Saturday evening and Sunday morning masses this weekend the 27th and 28th April. All players from under 10’s to Adult players must pay this fee in order to play football with the club this year. You will be asked for your childs date of  birth and address. Please check the Ladies notes regarding cost of registration. If you are not around this weekend please make arrangements with Paidh regarding payment.

Under 14’s
Hard luck to the Fenagh St Caillins under 14 team who in a titanic struggle with Mohill finished on the losing side on a score of 7-10 to 6-9.

Fenagh Community Centre Fundraiser
A very successful fundraiser and an enjoyable night was had by the large crowd who attended the play “Two loves of Gabrial Foley”. Fenagh Development wish to thank all who attended on the night, bought tickets, bought raffle tickets on the night and sponsored prizes for the raffle. Also thanks to Eslin Community Centre Committee who provided a large number of chairs for the night. Thanks also to all who helped in preparing the hall for the play, put up advertising signs and who sold raffle tickets on the night. Thanks also to Oliver Doonan for doing MC on the night. Construction on the centre will be commencing in early May.

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup is now enrolling for September 2013. We cater  for children aged from 2 years 10 months up to 5 years. We are also providing  places under the ECCE scheme. If your child is going to primary school in  September of 2014 and born between 02/02/2009 and 30/06/2010 they are  entitled to avail of the FREE preschool year. To enrol your child call into the playgroup or phone the playgroup leader Ceara on 086 3593244.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor  Children’s Play Area,Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). It is open Mon April 29th to Friday May April 3 rd from 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun May 4th/5th from 12 noon-5.30pm. Free internet access (Wi-Fi) and local  newspapers available to all customers. Also visit our website at www.fenagh.com which features lots of information on historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and events, Monk’s  Den playtime and birthday rates and other facilities on offer. Beginners Guitar Lessons for Women
Learn to play guitar and play songs you like in a relaxed and friendly group setting – 10 euro per class/1 hour. Contact Jane at 087 4165614 – dates and  times to be confirmed. Venue: Fenagh Visitor Centre

Carrick-on-Shannon Heritage Group Ltd. present
Heritage Showcase Event on Saturday 27th April in the Town Park, Carrick-on-Shannon (the park opposite The Dock) Gates open to public 10.30am – 17.30pm. Workshops,Demonstrations, Entertainment, Stalls, Face painting, Bouncing Castles and much much more.Fun for all the family Also there is a dog show and dog show craft skills on the day.Entries taken on the day. Baking Competition in association with the I.C.A being ran on the day. There is a variety of different baking classes. Film Hour in Ballinamore Library.
On Tuesday 30th April at 7.30pm as part of its season of films Ballinamore Library will show “Pride and Prejudice” This is a much loved film and should be of interest to both young and old.

As 2013 is the bicentenary of the first publication of “Pride and Prejudice” the library has a number of copies of the book on display and available for loan. There is also a small exhibition on the life of Jane Austen on display; so why not go along to the film, have a browse through book and a look at the exhibition.
Remember admission to the film is free and all are welcome.
