Fenagh Foroige

Fenagh Foroige is holding a table quiz on Saturday the 4th of May. The Quiz is being held in order to raise funding for Fenagh Foróige club and also for STOP Suicide.  The Quiz will take place at 8.00-10.00 pm in Fenagh Visitor Centre. The cost for a table of 4 is €16 and for a table of 5, €20. There will be a raffle on the night and thanks to our sponsors there will be many worthwhile prizes to be won. The night will be fun and enjoyable for all age groups with snacks and refreshments provided.  So come early to avoid disappointment

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup is now enrolling for September 2013. We cater for children aged from 2 years 10 months up to 5 years. We are also providing  places under the ECCE scheme. If your child is going to primary school in  September of 2014 and born between 02/02/2009 and 30/06/2010 they are entitled to avail of the FREE preschool year. To enrol your child call into the  playgroup or phone the playgroup leader Ceara on 086 3593244.

 Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). It is open Monday April 29th to Friday May 3rd from 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun May 4th and 5th 12 noon-5.30pm, CLOSED Bank Holiday Monday May 6th. Free internet access (Wi-Fi) and local newspapers available to all customers. Beginners Guitar Lessons for Women

People with Special Needs
Cáirde Liatroim is holding a fund raising dance with TR Dallas, Mickey Clerkin and Seán McAloon in the Bush Hotel Carrick-On-Shannon on Thursday 9th May.  Start 8pm. Cáirde Liatroim is a social club which provides  outings for people with special needs. Great raffle prizes on the night. Tickets available at the door or contact 0862545613.

Placenames of County Leitrim
As Part of the Gathering Celebrations Sean Ó Suilleabháin former County Librarian will give a  lecture on the Placenames of County Leitrim in  Ballinamore Library on Tuesday 7th May at 9pm. Placenames, their meanings, how they came about and how they were translated from Gaelic to English is fascinating. This should prove to be a very informative and interesting evening not to be missed, with time for questions and discussion following the lecture. Remember admission is free and everyone is welcome.

Mindfulness & Relaxation Class

Happy Birthday Percy!
Come to ‘Percy’s Party’ in Mohill Town from Friday 3rd May 8pm Hunt Hall(opposite library) to Sunday 5th May midnight!. The event will start with official opening by Chris Meehan of Chris Meehan & his redneck friends fame, art exhibition with original watercolour paintings by Percy French, sketches and songs, Saturday night 8pm Mass with ‘Sweet Spirit Gospel Choir’ & 8.45pm the play the ‘Country Boy’ with Sliabh an Iarainn Players in Hunt Hall and Sunday- 11am Church of Ireland Service with Sweet Spirit Gospel Choir & 7pm- gather on the Main St. in Mohill Town to welcome the man himself along with Paddy Reilly(his jarvey) on pony & trap where they will make their way to the Hunt Hall for a gala performance of song, drama, recitations and lots more with Tish Dunleavy & Percy French performing group, Mohill Amateur Dramatic Society and the North Co.Down Percy French Performing Quartet! Start the Party!
