Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours this week: Monday July 15th to Friday July 19th 10.00-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday July 20th and 22nd from 12-5.30pm. Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Beginners Guitar Lessons for Women

Aughawillan & Corraleehan Gathering
Craic le chéile cois na h’Abhann will take place over the weekend of the 19th to the 21st of July in the grounds of Aughawillan G.A.A. There will be live entertainment all weekend. Saturday, 20th July @ 11am – Wild Orchid & Windflower Walk – 10km* This walk will bring you through the charming countryside with a local thespian to entertain us along the way and homemade refreshments in the Marquee. Trip to Medjugorge

Orienteering League in Derrycarne Woods, Annaduff
Wednesday 10th & 17th of July. This league will suit beginners, walkers and families with buggies. No knowledge of the sport needed to take part. Free tuition will be given to new beginners. 2 courses available for beginners and seniors. Open registration from 18.00pm-19.15pm. €5 per entry. Come with your family or friends and enjoy a lovely walk in the woods while learning a new skill and being active.

Will be signposted from Carrick and the Dromod Roundabout using the white and orange orienteering markers. Then put your new skill to use by coming to Clooncahir Woods, Lough Rynn, Mohill on Sunday July 14th for an Orienteering Competition from 12pm-14.00pm. There will be a beginners and advanced course.
