Bus Service
Leitrim Development Co/Rural Lift are providing a bus service which will operate from Ballinamore via Fenagh to Carrick on Shannon on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Fenagh Active Age
All members of Fenagh Active Age Group would like to offer their deepest sympathy to the Keegan family on the recent sad loss of their dear mother Mary Bridget.  She was a valued member of our group and will be greatly missed by all of us.  May she Rest In Peace.

Fenagh Active Age will meet on Tuesdays at 8pm in Fenagh Visitor Centre.  New members always welcome.

Coffee Morning North West Hospice
There will be a  coffee morning after Mass in Fenagh Visitor Centre on Sunday Sept 29th in aid of the North West Hospice – all support greatly appreciated.

Fenagh Handball
Fenagh Handball Club would like to thank everybody who supported their very successful cake sale last weekend. A big thank you to all who baked or donated, all who helped out, everyone who purchased and to our sponsors Tommy and Fionnuala Smith, Niall Murphy, Eunan Sweeney and Margaret Wrynn. The spot prize winners were Cormac Scollan, Maura Wrynn, Eimear Doonan, Martin Doonan and Ryan O’Rourke.

Mary McNulty
The death has occurred at Skellingthorpe Private Care Home in Lincoln of Mary McNulty, late of Kiltyfannon, Fenagh, on August 25th 2013.  She was the oldest member of the family and was predeceased by her brother Michael 10 years  ago. She is survived by 2 sisters, Bridie Reynolds Liverpool and Christine Kellegher Ballinamore, and nieces and nephew. The funeral Mass was celebrated by Father McGovern (Monsignor), native of Aughawillan, at the church of St Peter and Paul, Lincoln; by her sister Christine, her nieces and nephew and many friends who knew her and visited her during her time in the Home.  She was laid to rest in Waddington Cemetery, Lincoln, England.  May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

 Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours this week: Sept 30th to Oct 4th from 10am-5.30pm and Sat/Sun Oct 5/6th from 12-5.30pm . Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Food Demonstration
Pauline Beadle from the Pampered Chef Company is back again at Fenagh Visitor Centre on Saturday October 5th at 8pm (date has changed) to cook up some tasty autumnal meals for all and to launch the new Pampered Chef catalogue which features a range of kitchenware and gadgets which can be tried out on the night.  Spot prizes and raffle on the night.  Admission 5 euro.  Call 071 9645590 to reserve your place. 
Fenagh Foroige Club

Fenagh Foroige Club is starting back the 4th of October from 8-9pm in Fenagh Visitor Centre.  We are looking forward to the start of a new foroige year and wish to extend the invite to any new members who may be interested in joining.  See you all then.

 Book Launch
Ballinamore library and Susie Minto invite you to the launch of “Leitrim Folk Tales” written by Leitrim based storyteller and writer Susie Minto.  The launch will take place in Ballinamore Library at 3pm on Saturday 28th Sept, priced at €12.99 or by contacting Susie at 087 9961031 or susiestories@gmail.com. Admission to this event is free with refreshments served.  Copies will be available to buy on the day.

Flog It @ Mulvey Centre Indoor Market for Simon Community
On Sun 6th Oct as part of Simon Week the North West Simon Community are holding a sale of bric a brac and collectables at the Mulvey Centre Indoor Market , Carrick-on-Shannon from 10 to 5. We are looking for bric a brac, costume jewellery, ornaments, bags, hats & fascinators, anything you wish to get rid of and good as new to sell on this day. Please drop any items you wish to donate to the North West Simon office between now and Sat 5th Oct and help raise money for a worthy cause.
