Deepest Sympathy
Deepest sympathy is extended to Damien, Karen, Jamie and Lindsey Gill and the extended Gill and Conefrey families on the death of Kalie who was tragically killed in New York on Friday night last. May she rest in peace. Her sister Lindsey who was also involved in the same accident and  received very serious injuries is thankfully recovering. Everyone’s thoughts and prayers are with the Gill and Conefrey families at this very traumatic time for them all.

Group Water Scheme Meeting
A very important meeting of the Drumany/Corrabeagh G.W.S. will take place on Wednesday October 16th 2013 at 8pm sharp in the Monks Den, Fenagh. This meeting is in relation to the proposed takeover of the scheme by Leitrim County Council. At least one person from each household is requested to attend.

CPR Training

Fenagh Handball Club
Fenagh Handball Club is holding an American Tea Party in The Standing Stone Hotel Ballinamore on Friday Night October 25th. Admission €10.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours this coming week: Oct 21st-25th from 10am-5.30pm and Sat/Sun Oct 26/27th from 12-5.30pm . Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook  ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Birthday parties at the Monks Den
We are offering 10% off any birthday party held Mon-Thurs and discounted Play area rates on Mon and Tues during October and November.  The main hall is also available for private functions, meetings and classes.

Halloween
There will be a Halloween Costume Disco for Kids (4-10 yrs) on Wed Oct 30th from 7-9pm in Fenagh Visitor Centre.  Admission 5 euro, goodies and games for all on the night.  We will also be running a 2 Day Children’s Camp (4-10yrs) on Oct 29th and 30th from 10-2pm, 10 euro daily.  Call Teresa on 9645590 for more info.

Gorvagh Ceili Dancing
Ceili Dancing  in Gorvagh Community Centre on Monday Oct 21st . Dancing from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. All welcome for a great nights entertainment.

New Books
There is now a collection of new books for children in Ballinamore Library so  why not bring the children along and help them choose a book. Reading is a gift for life and children’s books can be borrowed free of charge for a four week period. Ballinamore library is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am to 1.30pm and 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 1.30pm and 2.30pm to 8pm. Saturday 10am to 1.30pm and 2.30pm to 5pm

Talks on the Decade of Centenaries
 A series of talks on the struggle for identity in Ireland between 1912 and 1922 continues on Wednesdays this month at 8pm, organised by County Leitrim Peace III Partnership.  On Wednesday 16th October at 8pm, Linda Ervine, relative of David Ervine, formerly leader of PUP, will give a talk in Mohill Library on “The Hidden History of Protestants and the Irish Language”.  Admission to all talks is free and all are welcome.
