The club are organising a scrap collection in the coming weeks. Anyone wishing to get rid of scrap can contact any club member.
Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours this week: Mon-Fri April 28-May 2nd from 10am-5.30pm and Sat/Sun May 3/4th from 12-5.30pm . Fenagh Tidy Towns – Volunteers Needed
As part of An Taisce’s Spring Clean Campaign and our Tidy Towns initiative, we are organising a series of clean-up sessions (morning/evening) over the next few months around Fenagh village and surrounds to keep on top of litter control, weeding and general tidyup. Volunteers needed to help out, no experience necessary!. First session is Wednesday April 30th – meet Fenagh Visitor Centre at 11am. Tea/coffee for all helpers afterwards.
New ICA Group
The Irish Countrywomens Association are seeking interest in setting up a new group in Fenagh and the surrounding area. If you would like to get involved please contact Fenagh Visitor Centre on 9645590 to put your name down. The group is aimed at women aged 16 and upwards. Film Hour in Ballinamore Library
On Tuesday 22nd April at 7.30pm, come along to the library to see the Oscar Nominated film “Philomena” starring Judi Dench and Steve Colgan. Admission Free and all welcome.
“Draw with Dawn”
On Thursday 24th April, there will be an afternoon of Easter Cartoon Drawing with Dawn Mc Keon in Ballinamore Library starting at 2.30pm. This is for children aged between 7 and 13 years. Places are limited. Bookings can be made by contacting the Library at 071 9645566.
Childminding Quality Awareness Programme – Training for Childminders and potential Childminders
Training for Childminders and potential Childminders will take place on Saturday 10th and Saturday 24th May from 10am to 4pm in the Food Hub, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim.
