Local Notes Oct 20th

Under 16 Champions
Congratulations to Fenagh St Caillins under 16’s who were crowned Leitrim u 16 Champions on Saturday last defeating Mohill in the final on a scoreline of 4-13 to 1-10. A great all round team performance with a close first half but on the resumption of the second half they showed their class with a superb second half performance. Well done to all the players and to Bobby O’Rourke, Martin Doonan and Sean Logan on having the team so well prepared.

Under 12’s
Hard Luck to the under 12s who having drawn with St Marys in the first game came extremely close in claiming the under 12 title but 2 goals from St Mary’s was the difference in the teams in the end with the Fenagh St Caillins team fighting to the very end. Well done to all the players and to team management of Joe McDermott, T.P McLoughlin and Johnny McGover
