Fenagh Active Age will hold their first meeting after the Summer holidays at Fenagh Visitor Centre on Tuesday Sept 30th at 8pm. All members are requested to attend. New members always welcome to join us.
Fenagh Tidy Towns
The results are in with an increase of 11 points up on last year. A big thank you to all who work with us on the Tidy Towns Committee and all the volunteers who gave up their time to help us with our clean up sessions throughout the Spring/Summer. Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours this week: Monday to Friday 10.00-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday 12-5.30pm. Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Seamus O’Rourke performs in Fenagh Community Centre
Seamus O’Rourke will perform his new play “ Padraig Potts Guide to Walking” on Sat 27th September in Fenagh Community Centre at 8:30pm. Secondary School Art Classes
Art classes have begun in Ballinamore Community School in the evenings. These classes are aimed towards secondary school students & they will be conducted by Dawn McKeon who is qualified with 12 Years Experience a H.DIP and a MA. This is a fantastic opportunity for students in this school & surrounding areas to avail of the state of the art facilities & equipment in the new Art Room. Art as a subject has been in demand in Ballinamore for over 20 years. All classes will run in accordance with the curriculum set out by the Dept of Ed.
