Church Gate Collection
Church Gate collection in aid of Annual Senior Citizens Party will take place on this Sat 17th January and Sunday 18th January at St Marys Church Foxfield and at Gorvagh Church on Sunday 18th January. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Progressive 25 – Fenagh Handball Club
Progressive 25 commencing this Thursday night January 15th in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.00pm for 10 weeks. €500 Jackpot with nightly prizes. Admission €8 with refreshments served. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Alley Construction Fund.

Senior Citizens Party
The Annual Senior Citizens Party will take place this Sunday 18th January at 3pm in the  Community Centre.  All invites have gone out, anybody that has not received an invite please contact the Visitors Centre at 071 9645590. Anybody who wishes to donate a spot prize can do so by contacting the visitors centre. Anybody who wishes to help out on the day please contact the visitors centre and anybody who wishes to call in for the music and dancing in the evening which will start at 5pm are very welcome for what is always a good evenings entertainment.

Irish Coversation Classes
Irish Coversation classes which have been going well since they started a number of weeks ago will recommence in the parochial house, Foxfield on this  Wednesday 15th December at 8pm. For further details contact Michael at 087 4340134.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Mon to Friday 10.00-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday  12-5.30pm.  Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Also visit our website at www.fenagh.com which features lots of information on historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and events, Monk’s Den playtime and birthday rates, and other facilities on offer. Fenagh and surrounding areas – money is now due to renew your text alert.  Name, Number and 5 euro to be given to P.Kilkenny, T.Flynn, S.o’Rourke, M. McGovern or dropped into Monks Den

Fenagh Defibrillator Committee
Up-to-date leaflets with names and phone numbers of trained personnel in CPR and Defibrillation in your area are now available for collection in the Church Porch and Fenagh Visitors Centre.  The areas are Fenagh National School Area, Fenagh Football Pitch Area , Foxfield Church Area , Drumharkin Area and Cornaborne Area . One available for each house and only take the leaflet relevant to your area. If you know somebody who is unable to collect this information leaflet we would be obliged if you can arrange to take it for them.  It is important that all houses in the Parish have this information leaflet.

Drumshanbo Citizens Information Centre: Change of Opening hours 5/1/15
Please note the new opening hours  at the Drumshanbo Citizens Information Service, with effect from January 5th, 2015:
Mondays only from 9:30am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-4:30pm
The Carrick-on-Shannon Citizens Information Service is open each day Monday to Friday, 9:30-12:30pm and 1:30-4:30pm and the Manorhamilton Centre is open on Mon, Wed & Fri from 10:30am – 2:30pm.  Telephone: 0761 07 5670 or email leitrim@citinfo.ie.    Co.
