Cake Sale
“Fenagh Foroige Club is having a Cake Sale on the 5th of April (Easter Sunday) in the Fenagh Community Centre.  The cake sale will take place from 12pm-2pm.  There will be cake and plenty of easter festive fun on the day.  We would greatly appreciate your support on the day and all are  welcome.!”

 Fenagh ladies Gaa are having their Annual Sponsored 5K walk/run on Easter Monday 6th April, starting at n Fenagh Visitor Centre at 3pm (registration from 2:30pm) sponsorship Cards are being distributed by trainers and committee members. Afterward’s medal presentation to u12s girls on their big win last season. Please support

 Progressive 25 – Fenagh Handball Club
Progressive 25 continues this Thursday night April 2nd in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30pm.  with nightly prizes.  Admission €8 with refreshments served. Last week’s winners were V O’Rourke 8 Games, S Flynn 6 Games after a play-off. Please note from this week the games will start at 8.30pm.

Progressive 25 will continue until the jackpot of €500 is won. Players for the jackpot must have played at least 3 nights, while any new players can play for the nightly prize. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Alley Construction Fund. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Habitat For Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is a charity that helps provides homes for families in need. On Easter Saturday they are holding a National Bag Packing fundraiser in selected Tesco stores nationwide. Locally Fenagh Handball Club has been selected as Habitat’s partner club and will hold a Bucket Collection in Tesco Ballinamore this Saturday April 4th.

“STROLL FOR STROKE”
Good Friday 3rd April 2015 @5pm, Walk/Run 5k or 10k. Registration €10 per Adult (kids go free). At Ballinamore Rehab Care Centre, Golf Club Road, Ballinamore. Stroke awareness and Fundraising Event, All proceeds go to Stroke Action (Irish Heart Foundation).

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Mon to Friday 10.00-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday  12-5.30pm.  Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Fenagh St. Caillins GAA have registered for the Topaz Cash for Clubs initiative currently running at participating Topaz Fuel Stations The club would be grateful if all club members and customers in the community could start to collect stamps on campaign cards available from local Topaz stations. You’ll receive one stamp once you spend €40 on fuel purchases. Completed cards can be handed into the club secretary. Thank you for your support.

Irish Conversation Classes

Film “Leitrim Ploughing Championship 1990 Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim” Ballinamore Library
On Tuesday 7th April at 7.30pm come along to Ballinamore Library and see the film “Leitrim Ploughing Championship 1990  which was held in Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim”  It is now 25 years since this was filmed so this might be of good interest to people all over the County who follow the Leitrim Ploughing Championship as this is a County Event and this year will be held on Saturday April 4th at Lisnatulla, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim.  Please come along to Ballinamore Library on 7th April at 7.30 to see the above film.  Remember: Admission is Free and all are welcome.

Part-time IT skills course
Want to improve your computer skills and gain a recognised qualification?   Mohill Computer Training are running a part time Fetac/QQI Level 4 Computer Applications course running from Monday to Thursday 10 to 12.30 starting after Easter.  Course includes Word, Internet, Spreadsheets, Database and Desktop Publishing.   For more information call Doreen at 9632024.   Training is free to eligible applicants.

Special Olympics Ireland’s Annual Collection Day  – Friday 24th April  – Volunteers Needed!
Special Olympics Ireland urgently requires volunteers in the Leitrim area to help with our charity Collection Day on Friday April 24th. Collection Day is the biggest annual fundraising event in aid of Special Olympics Ireland. The money raised on the day will be used to ensure that Special Olympics Ireland can continue to realise its promise of offering people with an intellectual disability the opportunity to participate in sport in their area.
