 Progressive 25 – Fenagh Handball Club

Progressive 25 continues this Thursday night March 26th in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.00pm.  with nightly prizes.  Admission €8 with refreshments served. Winners of Week 9 were H Reynolds 7 games and V.O’Rourke 6 games after a playoff.  The 10 week league finished with N Scollan winning €100. The top 5 were N Scollan 45, S Masterson 39, S McLoughlin 37, E Lennon 36, J Gill 36.  Progressive 25 will continue until the jackpot of €500 is won. Players for the jackpot must have played at least 3 nights, while any new players can play for the nightly prize. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Alley Construction Fund. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Good Friday 3rd April 2015 @5pm, Walk/Run 5k or 10k. Registration €10 per Adult (kids go free). At Ballinamore Rehab Care Centre, Golf Club Road, Ballinamore. Stroke awareness and Fundraising Event, All proceeds go to Stroke Action (Irish Heart Foundation).

St Patricks Day Parade
Fenagh got the good weather and the crowds on St Patricks Day with another great parade. Congratulations to the St Patricks Day Committee on once again putting on a great parade with the RTE Cameras there to capture it all. A very enjoyable day for everybody as they applauded the large number of floats that passed through the village.

Fenagh ladies Gaa are having their Annual Sponsored 5K walk/run on Easter Monday 6th April, starting at n Fenagh Visitor Centre at 3pm (registration from 2:30pm) sponsorship Cards are being distributed by trainers and committee members. Afterward’s medal presentation to u12s girls on their big win last season. Please support

Fenagh St Caillins Club Lotto
Next draw takes place on Sunday March 29th with a Jackpot of €2700. Tickets will be available after masses in the parochial house on that weekend Your support would be greatly appreciated

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Flower Arranging Class
Friday April 3rd at 8-10pm.  Entry 5 euro per person, light refreshments served. Florist will have supplies/flowers which can be purchased on the night or bring your own greenery/bowls/candles/decorations etc to use in your Easter arrangement

Fenagh St. Caillins GAA have registered for the Topaz Cash for Clubs initiative currently running at participating Topaz Fuel Stations The club would be grateful if all club members and customers in the community could start to collect stamps on campaign cards available from local Topaz stations. You’ll receive one stamp once you spend €40 on fuel purchases. Completed cards can be handed into the club secretary. Thank you for your support.

French Conversational Classes

Ceili Dancing
Ceili Dancing takes place every Monday Night in Gorvagh Community Centre on Mondays commencing at 8pm. Everyone welcome.

Part-time IT skills course
Want to improve your computer skills and gain a recognised qualification?   Mohill Computer Training are running a part time Fetac/QQI Level 4 Computer Applications course running from Monday to Thursday 10 to 12.30 starting after Easter.  Course includes Word, Internet, Spreadsheets, Database and Desktop Publishing.   For more information call Doreen at 9632024.   Training is free to eligible applicants.

Special Olympics Ireland’s Annual Collection Day  – Friday 24th April – Volunteers Needed!
Special Olympics Ireland urgently requires volunteers in the Leitrim area to help with our charity Collection Day on Friday April 24th. Collection Day is the biggest annual fundraising event in aid of Special Olympics Ireland. The money raised on the day will be used to ensure that Special Olympics Ireland can continue to realise its promise of offering people with an intellectual disability the opportunity to participate in sport in their area.
