Progressive 25 continues on this Thursday night in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30pm. League prizes (Sponsored by Conefry’s Abbey Bar), Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Last week’s winners J Gill 6 games, S Masterson 5 games after a playoff.

Tidy Towns
Congratulations to the tidy towns committee and  volunteers whose hard work has resulted in Fenagh gaining 6 marks on the 2014 total  giving a total of 277 marks.  Full report on the Tidy Towns over the next couple of weeks. Well done to all involved.

“Indigestion” comes to Fenagh
Seamus O Rourke will be performing his play “ Indigestion” in Fenagh Community Centre on Saturday 24th October. More details at a later date.

ATHLETIC CLUB TRAINING RESUMES
Ballinamore Athletic Club which this year celebrates it’s Golden Jubilee resumes training after the summer break on Tuesday evening next at 7.00 p.m,. in Ballinamore Sports Hall. General Fitness training will be provided as well all athletics events including cross country, racewalking and Sportshall Athletics. New members are always very welcome. Training will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7.00 to 8.00 p.m. until the time change when it will revert to 6.00 to 7.00 p.m. The first fixture is the Leitrim Primary Schools Cross Country Championships in Leitrim Gaels Field on Thursday October 8th at 10.30 a.m. and the Leitrim Cross Country Championship will be in Ballinamore on Saturday October 24th.

Coffee Afternoon Fundraiser for North West Simon
Friday October 2nd from 12.30-2.30pm at Fenagh Visitor Centre – in aid of North West Simon who work to prevent homelessness in counties Leitrim Sligo and Donegal.  Please support – childrens playarea will remain free during fundraiser.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Mon to Friday 10.00-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday 12-5.30pm.  Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Traditional Irish Music
Are you interested in traditional Irish music?  Do you play a musical instrument, sing a  song, tell a story or a joke?  Are you retired or have time on your hands? Badminton
Anybody interested in playing Badminton at the Community Centre can put their name down by calling 9645590.  Open to adults and children, will go ahead if enough numbers sign up.
