The school Fashion Show will take place Thursday October 22nd at 7.30pm. in the Landmark Hotel. Tickets cost €10 and are available from school and the Monks Den and your support would be greatly appreciated

 “Indigestion” comes to Fenagh
Seamus O Rourke will perform his play “Indigestion” in Fenagh Community Centre on Saturday 24th October at 8:30pm with doors opening at 7:45pm. The story revolves around a man from West Cavan  who relays the story of his life, from the day his father fell from the roof of the byre, to his time on the building sites of London and back again to fight with his sisters and at the same time battling with obesity, anger issues and depression. But this is a story of hilarious situations, hostile confrontations, accidental love and most of all HOPE. Promises to be a great nights entertainment. Tickets are €10. Progressive 25
Progressive 25 continues on this Thursday night 15th Oct  in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30pm. League prizes (Sponsored by Conefry’s Abbey Bar), Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Last week’s winners were E Lennon 9 games, L O’Toole 5 games after a playoff.

“Fundraiser for Drumreilly GAA strictly come dancing”
Ladies you are invited to afternoon tea in Drumcoura Lake Resort on Sunday October 25th from 4pm. Music, fashion, health, beauty and more while you enjoy your afternoon tea and cakes.  Entry €10 with free goody bag, glass of sparling wine and entrance into draw for hamper of luxurious beauty products for first 100 ladies to attend.  This is a fundraising event for the strictly come dancing couple of Maresa Mc Gee and Jimmy Stenson.

Autumn Term programme
Irish Sign Language evening course will be available in Drumshanbo Vocational School.  Irish Sign Language is the first language of the Irish Deaf Community, and is an important part of Deaf Culture. Irish Sign Language is not “Sign Language through Irish” – it is the Sign Language used by the Irish Deaf community. It is a visual language, using the hands, facial expressions and body movements. Family, friends and professionals use Irish sign language to communicate with Deaf people as well is use with. Ireland and many other countries, for example England, France or America, have their own sign languages. Irish Sign Language is not just for deaf people and their families. Irish sign language can help where families have the difficulty communicating due to stroke, car accident, have Down Syndrome or Autism. Ballinamore Athletic Club which this year celebrates it’s Golden Jubilee resumes training after the summer break on Tuesday evening next at 7.00 p.m,. in Ballinamore Sports Hall. General Fitness training will be provided as well all athletics events including cross country, racewalking and Sportshall Athletics. New members are always very welcome. Training will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7.00 to 8.00 p.m. until the time change when it will revert to 6.00 to 7.00 p.m. The first fixture is the Leitrim Primary Schools Cross Country Championships in Leitrim Gaels Field on Thursday October 8th at 10.30 a.m. and the Leitrim Cross Country Championship will be in Ballinamore on Saturday October 24th.
