ON Friday, 27th , Sat. 28th and Sunday 29th November Drumkeeran Drama Group , once again, bring an exciting new drama production to the stage in Drumkeeran Community Centre . It takes audiences back to 1941 , a time , when for the rural population, especially in the west of Ireland , people struggled to survive . For them, like for the Bull Mc Cabe in John B. Keane’s great play, The Field , “ land is all that matters “ . So when Jack Dillon discovers that the farm, he had the grass of for twenty one years , is sold secretly and the Auctioneer refuses to divulge the purchaser , his neighbours rally around him and set out to take drastic action .
