Progressive 25 continues on this Thursday night 5th November  in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30pm. League prizes (Sponsored by Conefry’s Abbey Bar), Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Last week’s winners were G Butler 7 games, T Tiernan 6 games after a playoff.

National Club Draw- Fenagh St Caillins
Members of the club will be calling to the houses in the parish selling tickets for the National Club draw in the next few days. Tickets are €10 each and there are numerous prizes with 1st prize of a car. All monies raised will be going directly to the club to help with the day to day running of our club and all our teams. We are extremely grateful for your continued support.

Scor Na nOg

Ballinamore Area and Surrounding Parishes 1916 Committee
In order to fundraise for events which the 1916 committee will host in 2016. A Table Quiz will be held in Smiths Pub on Friday next 6th November starting at 9:30pm. Please support.

NOVEMBER SERIES OF TALKS ON BEREAVEMENT AND LOSS: Former TD and Government Minister, Mary O’Rourke, will give a talk on her personal experience of bereavement and loss in the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan, on Tuesday 10  November 2015 at 7:45p.m.  Admission: €5.  All welcome.  Refreshments served afterwards.

Autumn Term programme

 Irish Sign Language evening course will be available in Drumshanbo Vocational School.  Irish Sign Language is the first language of the Irish Deaf Community, and is an important part of Deaf Culture. Irish Sign Language is not “Sign Language through Irish” – it is the Sign Language used by the Irish Deaf community. It is a visual language, using the hands, facial expressions and body movements. Family, friends and professionals use Irish sign language to communicate with Deaf people as well is use with. Ireland and many other countries, for example England, France or America, have their own sign languages. Irish Sign Language is not just for deaf people and their families. Irish sign language can help where families have the difficulty communicating due to stroke, car accident, have Down Syndrome or Autism.
