 Church Gate Collection- Ray of Sunshine Foundation
Patrick Guckian, Glostermin will be heading off to Kenya in February 2016 along with other volunteers from around Ireland to assist The Ray of Sunshine Foundation. This non profit charity organisation which has been in existence for over a decade has been providing community and educational facilities to young children in Kenya. Patrick along with other volunteers will be constructing a refuge centre in Kenya for children who have been subjected to physical and sexual abuse.  Patrick must raise €3,000 in order to make the trip which will be of enormous benefit to those children.  To help raise funds, A Church Gate Collection will take place at St Mary’s Church Fenagh on this Saturday 12th December and Sunday 13th December. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

 Progressive 25
Progressive 25 continues on this Thursday night 3rd December in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30pm. League prizes (Sponsored by Conefry’s Abbey Bar), Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Last week’s winners were P Gibbons and P J Grennan 6 games each after a 9 way playoff.

Fenagh Handball Club’s annual Christmas 25 Card Drive takes place in Conefrey’s Abbey Bar on Friday night December 18th. Prizes include a Hamper, Turkey and Ham and Bottle of Whiskey. Tickets are on sale at €5.

Junior Scor
Congratulations to Fenagh St Caillins Question Time Team who won the final of the Junior Scor on Sunday week last. Well done to Riordain O Rourke, Owen McLoughlin, David Wrynn and Mark Keegan and their mentor Vincent O Rourke. Also well done to Katie Conefrey on a great performance in the solo singing.

Fenagh Development Company Ltd AGM
The AGM will take place on Thursday 17th December at 9:30pm. We are looking for new members all the time. So please come along to the meeting.

Candlelit Christmas Carol Service
All welcome to St Catherine’s Candlelit Christmas Carol Service at the Church of Ireland, Fenagh on Friday 11th December 2015 at 7.30pm. Refreshments served afterwards in Fenagh Visitor Centre

Fenagh Tidy Towns – Christmas Hamper
Lines are now available to buy for a Christmas Hamper, winner will be drawn Dec 21st. Lines are 2 euro and can be bought at the Visitor Centre and local outlets.  All money raised goes towards Tidy Towns projects for the upcoming year.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Christmas Flower Arranging Class
Monday December 21st at 8pm in Fenagh Visitor Centre – cost 7 euro per person.  You can bring your own greenery & flowers, bowl, candle, dish etc and florist will guide you through making a Christmas floral arrangement. Florist will also have supplies to buy on the night.

Fenagh 2016 Commemorative Calendar
Is on sale in Visitor Centre and other retail outlets at a cost of 10 euros.  This calendar would make a lovely Christmas gift for family and friends at home and abroad.

Santa Claus
Santa Claus paid a visit to the village on Sunday eve last to switch on the Christmas lights and give presents out to the children. Thanks to all that made it possible through putting up the lights etc. Thanks to Noel and Sinead for providing the premises to allow Santa Claus to give out his presents.

Table Quiz – Christmas Activities

Ballinamore  Musical Society
Rehearsals are continuing in Reynolds Lounge Upstairs every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. New members would be very welcome. Please come along and bring a friend.
