Progressive 25 Card Game
The Progressive 25 Card Game will continue on Thursday 21st April which will be the last night of the current run until the card games resumes again in the autumn. The league winners will be announced on Thursday night. League prizes (Sponsored by Conefrey’s Abbey Bar). Entry €8 with refreshments served. Last week’s winners were T Tiernan and B Wrynn 8 games each. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club.
Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup are now enrolling for September 2016. The ECCE programme has been expanded starting in September 2016 to offer children free pre-school hours from the age of 3 years. The total number of ECCE weeks a child can avail of will depend on the child’s birth date and the age at which the child starts primary school. There will now be 3 points during the year when a child can enrol in the scheme September, January and April. To avail of the scheme in September 2016 (Until June 2017) children must have been born between 1st January 2012 – 31st August 2013. To avail of the scheme in January 2017 (Until June 2017) children must have been born between 1st January 2012 – 31st December 2013. To avail of the scheme in April 2017 (Until June 2017) children must have been born between 1st January 2012 – 31st March 2014. Fenagh Tidy Towns Spring Clean
Rescheduled clean-up session around Fenagh village and approach roads (weather permitting) on Wednesday April 20th at 6.30pm. Meet at Visitor Centre. We are looking for volunteers to help us with painting, litter control, sign washing, etc so if you have an hour or two to spare come along.

Re-useable tea/coffee travel cups now on sale at Fenagh Visitor Centre for 5 euro. All proceeds go towards Fenagh Tidy Towns projects. This is an anti-litter initiative launched recently by Leitrim County Council.

Tea at Three
Is a new concept from the ICA – meeting up for a cuppa and a chat. We’ll be in Fenagh Visitor Centre (Monks Den) on Wednesday 20th April 2016 at……..yes, 3pm! Everyone gets their own refreshments, but we all share in the chat. There will be the chance to see inside St Catherine’s Church of Ireland from 2pm to see and hear about the recent and planned restoration projects

SAFETALK TRAINING
Which prepares participants to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. will take place in the Kilmore Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan on Wednesday 11 May 2016 from 9:30a.m. to 1:00p.m. There is no cost for this training. Leitrim/ West Cavan Down Syndrome
Will benefit from this years ‘Percy Party’ event on Sunday night May 1st 8.30pm in the Hunt Hall, Castle Street, Mohill. Percy’s special guest will be Eleanor Shanley with an appearance by Thomas Moore(Colm O’Reilly). Moore & Percy have a lot in common in that both were born in May and both studied in Trinity College . The County Leitrim Percy French Group with special guest Eleanor Shanley will honour Percy French and pay tribute to his fellow composer Thomas Moore who composed songs such as ‘The Minstral Boy’ (currently recorded by Jack L.), ‘Tis the last Rose of Summer’, ‘Believe me if all those endearing young charms’ and more.

Percy French (Frank Cadam) is the Leitrim Ambassador for the Irish Kidney Association. As part of the ‘Percy Party’ event, the’ Sliabh an Iarainn Players’ will present the great John B. Keane play ‘Moll’ in the Hunt Hall, Castle Street, Mohill on Saturday night April 30th at 8.45.pm. The Leitrim Branch of Irish Kidney Association will benefit from ‘Moll’ so some along and support this worthy cause while enjoying a great production of this play.
