Progressive 25 Card Game
The Progressive 25 Card Game will continue on Thursday 7th April. League prizes (Sponsored by Conefrey’s Abbey Bar),  Nightly prizes and Jackpot. Entry €8 with refreshments served. The Jackpot of €250 was won by Hubie Reynolds with 8 games. M McGovern and S McLoughlin finished second with 7 games each. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club.

Fenagh Active Age Annual Social
The group will hold their annual social at Fenagh Community Centre, Foxfield (next to Fenagh church) on Tuesday April 12th at 9pm.  Music by Francie Smith.  Refreshments will be served and a raffle will be held.  Admission 8 euro.  All members of Active Age groups are very welcome to come and have an enjoyable evening.

Fenagh Tidy Towns
Clean-up session around Fenagh village and approach roads on Wednesday April 6th at 6.30pm.  Meet at Visitor Centre.  We are looking for volunteers to help us with painting, litter control, sign washing, etc so if you have an hour or two to spare come along.

Leitrim Tourism Table Quiz
Table Quiz in Standing Stone , Ballinamore on Thursday 7th April at 8:30pm sharp in aid of Leitrim Tourism. Great  prizes including tickets to Cowboys and Heroes Music Festival in Drumcoura. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Mon to Friday 10.00-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday  12-5.30pm.  Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Well done
Well done  to the Fenagh St Caillins Question Time Team who represented Leitrim in the All Ireland Scor Finals in Killarney on Saturday 2nd April and acquitted themselves very well. The Question time team was as follows:- Martin Doonan, Vincent O’Rourke, Noel O Rourke and Bill Tubman.

Great Irish Bake for Temple St Childrens Hospital
On Friday April 15th from 10am-2pm the Visitor Centre is hosting a Great Irish Bake with all donations going to Temple Street Childrens Hospital.  There will be lots of tea and cake on the day so come along and support.  If you would like to bring along any baked goods on the day that would also be appreciated.

Tea at Three
Is a new concept from the ICA – meeting up for a cuppa and a chat.  We’ll be in the Fenagh Visitor Centre (Monks Den) on Wednesday 20th April 2016 at……..yes, 3pm!  Everyone gets their own refreshments, but we all share in the chat.  There will be the chance to see inside St Catherine’s Church of Ireland from 2pm to see and hear about the recent and planned restoration projects.

 Fenagh Ladies Sponsored 7KM Walk/Run/Jog
Fenagh Ladies wish to thank all who turned out at this event and also to anyone that paid sponsorship.  Thanks also to Noel Conefrey for sponsoring the refreshments en route and to David McKenna who kindly donated the prizes.  The sun shone and an enjoyable day was  had by all who attended.

Fenagh St. Patrick’s Day

Sweet Spirit for Cavan Oncology
The Cavan Oncology Unit, Cavan General Hospital is to be the beneficiary of a concert by the Sweet Spirit Gospel Choir under the direction of Tish Dunleavy. The event will take place in the Cornmill Theatre, Carrigallen on Sunday evening 10th April at 8.30pm sharp! Special guests on the night will be the Leitrim Male Choir. Come along and support this very worthy cause.

Alice McTague is organising this Table Quiz in The Poor Scholar Ballinamore on Friday at 9pm. Let’s hope we see the good people of Ballinamore coming out in force to support Mohill Does Strictly.

Drama in Lough Rinn Castle 
The great comedy “The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley” will be performed by The Acorn Players at Lough Rinn Castle on tonight Wed April 6 at 8.30. This is in conjunction with Mohill Does Strictly. There are three of the dancers in the cast, Padraig McLoughlin, Anella McGuinness and Martina Harte. The play starts at 8pm and a great night’s entertainment is promised

Childrens Table Quiz
Two more dancers for Mohill’s Strictly, Salome and Joe are hosting a children’s table quiz in St Manchans NS Mohill on Friday evening at 7pm. Teams of four  €20.
