Book of Fenagh 500 Festival
The Organising Committee would like to thank everybody who supported our very successful Festival Weekend.  To those who attended the launch & lectures, walking tours, exhibitions, those who bought tickets for the Concert and Medieval BBQ, people who so generously donated and all the volunteers who gave a helping hand.  Thank you very much.

Heritage Week Events Fenagh
As part of Heritage Week, there will be guided tours of Fenagh Abbeys and Church of Ireland Thurs-Sunday Aug 25-28th starting at 2pm from Fenagh Visitor Centre each of these days.  There will also be a talk on Restoration of Buildings given by Shane Cusack of Michael Fitzpatrick Architects on Aug 27th at 7.30pm.  Venue: St Catherines Church, Fenagh

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Mon to Friday 10am-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday  12-5.30pm.  Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Also visit our website at www.fenagh.com which features lots of information on historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and events, Monk’s Den playtime and birthday rates, and other facilities on offer. Pilates Class
Pilates Class starting in September at the Visitor Centre – call 9645590 for more info.  Class will go ahead if enough numbers.

Baby & Toddler Summer Deal
Summer Saver Deal runs throughout the Summer months at Fenagh Visitor Centre on Thurs & Fridays 10am-noon 3 euro adult/2 euro child.  Refreshments served.  Ideal for babies-4 years.  Our usual hourly playtime continues throughout the week and party slots available if you have a birthday to plan.

Foroige
We are hoping to get a Foroige Group running again in Fenagh – there will be an information evening given by Foroige’s Regional Officer September 23rd at 7pm in the Visitor Centre.  More info to follow nearer the date

Cavan Leitrim Railway Photographic Exhibition on display daily during Library opening hours from August 6 to August 22.

Liam McNiffe talk in Ballinamore Library
Historian and author, Dr. Liam Mc Niffe will present Reading the Rising, One Rebellion, Many Views in Ballinamore Library on Tuesday August 23rd at 8pm. It is hoped that questions and discussion will follow the presentation.  This talk forms part of the Leitrim Libraries National Heritage Week schedule of events.  It is free and everyone is welcome.
