Christmas Lights – Switch On
The new Christmas lights was switched on by Santa Claus on Saturday evening last and witnessed by a large crowd of children and parents. The new lights looked great on what must be the tallest Christmas Tree in Leitrim. Thanks to Peter Oliver and Patrick for getting the lights up and working in time for the switch on. Also thanks to Majella (Quinn Pub) for providing her premises to Santa to give out the presents. Also thanks to Noel Conefrey and his customers who contributed to the Christmas lights collection during 2015 and part of  2016. As a result of their fundraising efforts the new Christmas lights could be purchased for the tree in the village.
