Christmas Lights – Switch On
The new Christmas lights will be turned on by Santa Claus on Saturday evening at 5:30pm sharp and then Santa Claus will give out presents to all the children afterwards in Quinn’s Lounge. 

St.Vincent De Paul Church Gate Collection at St Marys Church Foxfield
This weekend Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th Dec St Vincent De Paul Ballinamore are holding their annual Christmas Church gate collection. We need your help, all monies collected are to support people in need in our local community. Your generosity will make Christmas very special for families in this community. Progressive 25 Card Game
Progressive 25 Autumn/Winter League continues this Thursday 17th November, in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30pm. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. Last week’s winners were S McLoughlin and V O’Rourke 6 games each. The club would like to thank Leo Devaney of the Abbey Bar for his sponsorship of the jackpot prize. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club.

Fenagh Tidy Towns Hamper
Lines now on sale for a lovely Christmas hamper which will be drawn Dec 19th.  Lines are 2 euro or 3 for five and are available at Visitor Centre and from committee members. Second prize Bottle Whiskey Third prize Box Biscuits.  All support greatly appreciated.

Fenagh Christmas Carol Service
St Caillin’s NS Christmas Carol service will take place in St. Mary’s Church, Foxfield on Wednesday 21st December at 7pm. All are welcome.

 St. Caillin’s N.S. 50th Anniversary
St Caillin’s NS ,Fenagh was first opened in 1966 and a mass to commemorate its 50th Anniversary will be celebrated in the school on Thursday morning the 22nd December at 9.15am. Roll books from those years will be on display in the school. We hope many former pupils can attend. All are welcome and refreshments will be served afterwards.

Fenagh Area Text Alert
Subscription of 5 euro now due.  Envelopes available in the Visitor Centre and local pubs.  All completed envelopes should be returned to Visitor Centre.

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup is now enrolling for January 2017 if your child was born between 1st January 2012 – 31st December 2013 they are entitled to avail of the FREE preschool year.  If you wish to enroll your child contact Ceara on 0863593244.
Christmas Carol Service
In St Catherine’s Church Fenagh.  Thursday December 15th at 7.30pm.  Refreshments afterwards in the Visitor Centre.  Everybody welcome.

Christmas Flower Arranging Class
Monday Dec 19th at 8pm in the Visitor Centre – 7 euro entry.  Create a Christmas centrepiece for your hall/table/mantle.  Bring your own greenery/flowers/bowl/decorations etc and florist will guide you along.  Florist will also have supplies to purchase on the night.  Refreshments served.

Fenagh Visitor Centre – Christmas Opening Hours
Christmas Opening Hours:  Closed Dec 24-27th. Open: Dec 28-31st 12-5.30pm. Closed  Jan 1st & 2nd .  Reopens January 3rd at 10am.   For further information call (071) 9645590.  Also the main hall will be closed until 1pm Wednesday Dec 7th for a private event.

Food Drive
“RehabCare Resource Centre Ballinamore are running a Christmas Food Drive in aid of St. Vincent de Paul, members of the community who would like to make a donation to this very worthy cause can leave their items into the Resource Centre in New Golf Links Road 9-5 Monday to Friday.  Donations are being accepted up until Friday 16th of December. Items that would be greatly appreciated are sweets, biscuits, Christmas cake, turkey/ham vouchers, tea, coffee, soft drinks, tinned food, cereals, rice, pasta etc”

Fenagh Baby & Toddler Group
The group runs on Thursday and Friday mornings throughout the year from 10am-12pm at the Visitor Centre. This group is aimed at mums/dads/grandparents/minders that have children in their care from newborn stage to age 5.  It provides a social outlet for both adults and children and is a great way to meet other parents in your area who are at the same stage as you.  As well as the indoor play area, there is wide range of age appropriate toys available for the children. Tea/coffee/scones served for adults and juice/toast for children.  Ample car parking and baby changing facilities available.  Fee 6 euro per adult.  All very welcome, no need to sign up, just come along any Thursday or Friday morning.

Wheatgrass Tastings
There will be a FREE wheatgrass tastings and information day at The Nature Trail, Health Shop in Mohill on Saturday 10th December from 12.00 to 4.00. Wheatgrass is packed with nutrients and is excellent for energy

Slimming World
Slimming world mohill is now at 7pm on Thursdays in the canon donohoe hall. Come along and find out how you can fill up as you slim down! Call Ciara 0877685093 for more info
