Fenagh Active Age
The Group will hold their first meeting of 2017 on Tuesday January 24th at 8pm in the Visitor Centre.  A full attendance is hoped for.  See you all on the 24th January.

Progressive 25 Card Game
Progressive 25 Winter/Spring League continues this Thursday night January 19th, in Fenagh Community Centre at 8.30. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last week’s winners were W Conefrey 7 games and K Doonan 6 games.

Connaught Scor Na Nog
Hard luck to Katie Conefry who performed very well in the Connaught Finals of the Scor na Nog solo singing which was held at the weekend but narrowly lost out in the end.

Senior Citizens Party
A great day was had by all at the recent Senior Citizens Party with great food music, song and dance. Thanks to all those who helped make it such a great success. They are as follows:- Noel and Sinead Conefry, Aideen Reynolds, Hilary Greenan, Orla McKeon, Roisin Greenan, Aoibhinn Greenan, Caroline Reynolds, Orla Redican,  Marie McGovern, Eugene O’Riordain, Peter Kilkenny, Dave Swann, Patrick Curran and Teresa Lennon, Betty Doonan, Bridget Dolan, Mary McCaffrey, Jane Crowley and Doreen Honeyman  who had everyone up dancing  with Seamus Farrell providing the music. Thanks to Tommy and Fionnoula from Clara Catering for providing a great meal on the day. Thanks to Leo from the Abbey Bar for providing the keg of Guinness for the party and the use of glasses. Also thanks to all who either donated money or spot prizes for the raffle. 

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Mon to Friday 10am-5.30pm and Sat/Sunday  12-5.30pm.  Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Facebook ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Fitness Classes
Pilate’s classes continue on Thursdays 7pm at the Visitor Centre. Also Fitness with Julie every Monday night at 8pm.  All pay as you go.

Fenagh Baby & Toddler Group
Meets every Friday at the Visitor Centre 10am-12pm. Refreshments served.  Use of play area and other toys.  All welcome.

Fenagh Area Text Alert
Subscription of 5 euro now due.  Envelopes available in the Visitor Centre and local pubs.  All completed envelopes should be returned to Visitor Centre.

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup is now enrolling for January 2017 if your child was born between 1st January 2012 – 31st December 2013 they are entitled to avail of the FREE preschool year.  If you wish to enrol your child contact Ceara on 0863593244.

A Note For your Diary – Aughawillan Drama Troupe
Aughawillan Drama Troupe are on a high rehearsing for the sinfully hilarious play “Drinking Habits” written by award winning playwright Tom Smith. This comedy will be performed for your entertainment on the 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of February in Aughawillan Hall. The Sliabh an Iarainn Players
 The  Mohill based Sliabh an Iarainn Players, under the direction of Frank Cadam, will once again take to the stage in 2017 with more top class drama. We would like to invite anyone interested in being part of a successful drama group, or anyone interested in learning a craft, how to act, design sets, lighting, sound and everything else that goes into staging a successful production, to join us for the coming year. Drama helps build your confidence and gives you the chance to meet some great people. Our aim is to provide top class drama, combined with good camaraderie for everyone involved.
