“MOLL”  in Fenagh
On Sunday night 9th April at 8.30pm ‘The Sliabh an Iarainn Players ‘  in association with  Castlefore Development Fenagh will stage their very successful play ‘Moll’  in the Community Centre in Fenagh. ‘Moll’ is regarded as John B. Keane’s most comical play and has given past  audiences a great nights entertainment with loads of laughs. It is a great testament to any production that some people came twice and three times to see it such was their enjoyment. The great reviews received and the demand from a large number of people convinced the group to stage it again. The very talented cast come from Leitrim, Cavan. Longford and Roscommon.Tish Dunleavy plays the title role ‘Moll’ and she brings her own very unique humour and comedy to the part. The other characters are all played by a very talented cast under the direction of Frank Cadam. A great nights entertainment is guaranteed and a very worthy cause will benefit from the night. Progressive 25 Card Game
Progressive 25 Winter/Spring League continues this Thursday night  6th April 2017, in Fenagh Community Centre at the later time of 9pm. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last week’s winners were L Masterson, P Mulligan and M Quinn 6 games each. Please note that from this Thursday night cards will start at 9pm until the end of the season.

Easter  Sunday Sunrise Service
There will be an Easter Sunday Sunrise Service in St Catherine’s Church at 6am on Sunday 16th April . Breakfast afterwards in the Monks Den.

Fenagh Development Company Ltd AGM
The AGM of Fenagh Development Co Ltd will take place on Monday 10th April at 9:30pm. New members welcome.

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup are now enrolling for April 2017.  If your child was born between 1st January 2012 – 31st March 2014 they are entitled to avail of the FREE pre-school year.  If you wish to enroll your child contact Ceara on 086-3593244.We are looking for donations of toys/equipment.  Toys must be suitable for children aged from 2 years 9 months up to 4 years and they must be in good condition no broken, missing or damaged items please.  If you have any of the following toys/equipment that you wish to donate contact Ceara on 086 3593244 or call in to the Playgroup Monday – Friday 9.00 – 12.00. Lego, Trains and Wooden Train Tracks, Jigsaws, Dolls Cots, a Digital Camera, a Water Tray, Tricycles, Ride on Tractors, a Castle, Dress Up Costumes, Arts and Crafts Materials, Playdough and Chalk. 

 

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Fenagh Baby & Toddler Group
Meets every Friday at the Visitor Centre 10am-12pm. Refreshments served.  Use of play area and other toys.  All welcome.

Ballinamore Area Community Games
Art & Handwriting Competition: For anyone interested in taking part, details of the competition have been sent to all local schools.  Alternatively please contact Amanda O’Connell 086-8274199 with any queries.

Clothes Collection
There will be a clothing recycling collection in St. Caillin’s N.S. on April 7th 2017. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes, bed linen, towels, curtains, shoes, bags, belts and soft toys(no duvets or pillows please). Please drop off your bags during school hours or after school hours, any day before April 7th or drop off inside school wall. Every bag counts.

NOEL MCMANUS Memorial Run
The Noel McManus Memorial 5k and 10K Run/Walk will take place on this Good Friday, 14th April at 12pm in Lough Rynn, Mohill.   This is a chip timed race and is permitted by Athletics Ireland. For those who just want to come out and walk it with families or friends you can choose unchipped timing.Registration is available online at Facebook/Noel McManus Memorial Run, or at Coretiming.ie  or you can register on the day from 10am onwards. Registration will close at 11:30am. €15 for chipped race or €10 for unchipped.  U16’s €5. This event is organised by Mohill & District Athletics Club and this year half the proceeds will go to Gortletteragh GAA.Refreshments will be served afterwards in the beautiful Lough Rynn Castle. Please come out and support this particularly enjoyable event. 

Library News: Easter Egg Draw
Calling all children , drop into Ballinamore Library, borrow a book , your name goes in the hat and draw for Easter Egg will take place on Thursday 13th April at 5pm.

Spring into Story-Time
