Heritage Week 2017
Heritage week runs from August 19th-27th this year– we are running free tours to the Abbeys and Church of Ireland on Aug 24-27th starting out at Visitor Centre at 2pm sharp.  All welcome.

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup reopens on Wednesday 30th August at 9.00 a.m.  Best of luck to the children who have left the playgroup to
start school.

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun  12-5.30pm.  Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Fenagh Baby & Toddler Summer Session

Fenagh Gaelic for Mothers & Others
Fenagh G4M&O training continues Thursday evenings at 7.30pm in Park Séan, St Caillin’s GAA pitch Fenagh. Any Ladies who would like to join us for an hour of fun and fitness is more than welcome!!!!! No football skills needed. So if you are over 18yrs and currently not registered as a player why not come along and see if it is something that you might enjoy! Plenty of laughs guaranteed!!

The Golden Era of Céilí Music
To celebrate National Heritage Week, Ballinamore Library is hosting a very special event on Friday 25th at 2.30pm. The Golden Era of Céilí Music is a talk by Brian Lawlor, founder of the Ardellis Céilí Band.  This is a treat for all lovers of Irish music and dance and covers the period 1955-1970. Brian has collected interviews from all kinds of people who were part of the Golden Era of Céilí Music and Dance. Come to this talk and hear his personal history of the time and the stories he has recorded along the way. This is a free event and you are assured of a nostalgic entertaining afternoon.
