Fenagh Gaelic for Mothers & Others
Excitement is building in Fenagh as this Sunday our Gaelic for Mothers & Others team, Mentors and supporters make their way to Croke Park! A big “Thank You” to Majella in Quinn’s Bar, Fenagh for organising a hamper for us to raffle, lines are €2 each or 3 for €5 which are available in Quinns Bar or from any member of Fenagh Gaelic for Mothers & Others, your support would be gratefully appreciated. So as all roads lead to Croke Park on Sunday, we would like to wish all those involved in Fenagh Gaelic for Mothers & Others the very best of luck, enjoy every moment of this unique occasion!

Progressive 25 Card Game Starts back – Fenagh Handball Club
Progressive 25 commences this Thursday night September 21st in Fenagh Community Centre, starting at 8.30. The Autumn/Winter league starts on Thursday week September 28th. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club.

Fenagh Ladies Win
Congratulations to the Fenagh St Caillins Ladies team who won the Division 3 title on Sunday last with a victory over Keeldra Gaels in Aughavas after extra team in a pulsating game which could have gone either way until Fenagh Ladies took control in the second period of extra time. Well done to the panel of players and to Bernie McLoughlin and Sinead Conefrey who managed them to victory.

U -13 Boys
Well done to the u 13 Fenagh St Caillins team who captured the 13 a side championship with an emphatic win over St Josephs in the Centre of Excellence on Friday evening last. Well done to the panel of players and to Ciallan McLoughlin, Brendan McLoughlin and Martin Doonan on guiding this team to victory.

Fenagh Active Age
The Group resumes their meetings on Tuesday 26th September at 8pm in the Visitor Centre. 

Social Dancing Classes

Gorvagh Mass
Please note there will be no mass in Gorvagh Church on the 24th September and the 1st October 2017.

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup have been selected by Tesco Ballinamore for the Tesco Community Fund starting on Monday 7th August and running for eight weeks.  If you shop in Tesco Ballinamore could you please put the blue tokens in the tube allocated to Fenagh Community Playgroup.  Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Next clothes collection date is Monday 10th October so if you have any old clothes, shoes, bedding, etc, please drop bags down to the school by Monday 10th October.  You can drop the bags over the wall of the school anytime. Every bag counts. Thank you for your continued support.”

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Continues Thursday evenings at 7pm in the Visitor Centre.

Fenagh Baby & Toddler Group
Friday mornings 10am-12pm at the Monks Den. Refreshments served.  Use of play area and other age appropriate toys.  All welcome. 

Fenagh Tidy Towns
The horsecart which forms part of the floral display in the village needs to be either replaced or significantly repaired for next year. If anybody has a cart or cart parts (eg wheel etc ) they would be willing to donate to Tidy Towns please give the Committee a call on 9645590.  Thanks for your continued support

Jiving Classes for Kids

Art
At Solas Gallery, Main Street, Ballinamore (opposite the library and above the flower shop) is “Untitled, A conversation in time” – a solo show by local Ballinamore multimedia artist Brendan Dean.  The opening is at 7.30pm Friday 1st September (all welcome) and the exhibition runs until Saturday 23rdSeptember 0719644210   www.solasart.ie  Tue-Sat 10am-6pm 

Ballinamore Library News.

Culture Night Friday 22 September.As part of Culture Night Ballinamore library is hosting a lecture “Could we survive without our native bees?” The lecture will be delivered by Professor John Bredin of University of Limerick. Starting at 8pm this is a free event and with all welcome.  Refreshments will be served.

Basic Computer Course.In early October there is a Basic Computer Course starting in Ballinamore library. This course is free and will run on Thursday evenings between 5.30 and 7.30 over a 5 week period.  Places are limited  and booking is essential.  For booking and further details contact the library at 071 9645566.

Draughts club continues in the library each Tuesday 6.30pm to 7.30om.  Bring along draught board if you have one and all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Sean Nós ar an tSionann Dance Club for children
