Trick or Treat for Temple Street

 Progressive 25 Card Game – Fenagh Handball Club
Progressive 25 Autumn/Winter League continues this Thursday night October 26th in Fenagh Community Centre, starting at 8.30.  League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Last weeks winners were Brendan Donegan, Tommy Flynn, Pat Joe Greenan, Mark Rowley and Niall Scollan, all with 6 games each.   Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club

Fenagh Tidy Towns
The hard work of the Fenagh Tidy Towns committee earned them & all the many volunteers the Cleaner & Greener Award at the Environmental & Community Awards 2017 recently held in the Bush Hotel.  This award recognised the many floral displays but also the appreciation of the local wildlife habitats and green initiatives.  This work in ongoing and all volunteers are very welcome. Congratulations to all involved

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space).Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun  12-5.30pm.  CLOSED MONDAY OCTOBER 30TH.  Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. New block of six classes starts Thursday October 26th at 7pm. Pay as you go. Suitable for both beginners and advanced level.

Fenagh Baby & Toddler Group
Friday mornings 10am-12pm at the Monks Den. Refreshments served.  Use of play area and other age appropriate toys.  All welcome.

Ceili Dancing continues in Gorvagh Community Centre next Monday night 30th October at 8:30pm sharp. All welcome.

Draughts Club
Draughts Club continue on Tuesday evenings, in Ballinamore Library,  from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Bring along your own board if you have one. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Basic Computer Course.In early October there is a Basic Computer Course starting in Ballinamore library. This course is free and will run on Thursday evenings between 5.30 and 7.30 over a 5 week period.  Places are limited  and booking is essential.  For booking and further details contact the library at 071 9645566.

Irish Class for Complete Beginners. Irish class for people with little or no Irish will begin in Ballinamore Library on Thursday 12 October at 7.00pm. Admission is free.

An invitation to The ‘Energy Within’ and ‘Land, Sea and Sky’
Solas Art Gallery, Ballinamore, presents the opening of a joint Exhibition by Therese Whelan Tierney; ‘Energy within’ and Isabelle Gaborit; ‘Land, Sea and Sky’. This exhibition will be opened by artist Louis McLoughlin on Friday 27th October at 7.30pm. As usual refreshments will be served. Halloween Fun at Ballinamore Library
Come along to Ballinamore Library on Tuesday 31st October for a Fun filled Halloween. 2.30pm the draw will take place for the winner of the “Name the Witch” competition, so get your entries in.3pm the “Dogs Trust” will host a Free Dog Safety Workshop.  This will feature a furry friend and will focus on dog safety especially around Halloween.  An afternoon not to be missed by dog lovers.5pm Scary Movie for kids.  Children are asked to come along wearing their Halloween costumes and there will be treats for all children who come along on the evening.
