Fenagh Tidy Towns
Congratulations to the tidy towns committee on another great year with an increase of 5 points bringing the score up to 289. Great credit must go to all involved who over the last number of years who have transformed the look of the village with their hard work and imagination.  Our next meeting takes place October 9th at 9pm in the Visitor Centre – new members always welcome.

Results of the raffle: Winner of the hamper Anne O’Rourke, Winners of €20 each Caillin Ellis and Joan Leydon. Thank you to Majella from Quinn’s Bar who sponsored the hamper and to all who bought tickets, a total of €628 were raised. Thanks to all who joined us in Croke Park, having your support was very important to us and certainly added to the record attendance. What a day and what an incredible experience for our players and Mentors alike. Thanks to Miceal and Mella for their continued commitment and hard work which is gratefully appreciated. It’s time to hang up our boots for this year but we look forward to doing it all again in 2018.   

Date for your Diary  – Cavan Curse
Seamus O Rourke will be putting on his play “Cavan Curse “in Fenagh Community Centre on Saturday 11th November 2017.

Next clothes collection date is Monday 10th October so if you have any old clothes, shoes, bedding, etc, please drop bags down to the school by Monday 10th October.  You can drop the bags over the wall of the school anytime. Every bag counts. Thank you for your continued support.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun  12-5.30pmFree internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Yoga with Deniese
Continues Thursday evenings at 7pm in the Visitor Centre.

Fenagh Baby & Toddler Group
Friday mornings 10am-12pm at the Monks Den. Refreshments served.  Use of play area and other age appropriate toys.  All welcome. 

Fenagh Community Centre

Jiving Classes for Kids (age 5+)
Saturday mornings starting in November at Fenagh Community Centre – classes will go ahead if enough interest, if you have a child who would like to attend call 9645590 to register your interest. 8 euro per child.

Progressive 25 Card Game Starts back – Fenagh Handball Club
Progressive 25 Autumn/Winter League starts this Thursday night October 5th in Fenagh Community Centre, starting at 8.30.  League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Last week’s winners were S McLoughlin and G Murray 6 games each.  Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club

Michelle Assorted Fitness
Mens fitness session continues  starting in Ballinamore gaa gym every Wed at 8.30pm. All fitness levels welcome. Ladies beginners fitness class!! Are you interested in getting fit and healthy come along to Ballinamore gaa gym Thurs at 11am and you will be introduced to our fitness sessions.

Draughts Club continue on Tuesday evenings, in Ballinamore Library,  from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Bring along your own board if you have one. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Ballinamore Library News.
Basic Computer Course.In early October there is a Basic Computer Course starting in Ballinamore library. This course is free and will run on Thursday evenings between 5.30 and 7.30 over a 5 week period.  Places are limited  and booking is essential.  For booking and further details contact the library at 071 9645566.

Kiddies Movie hour each Saturday at 2.30pm Details of movies showing available from the. Library at 071 9645566. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Irish Class for Complete Beginners. Irish class for people with little or no Irish will begin in Ballinamore Library on Thursday 12 October at 7.00pm. Admission is free.
