Glowing Responses to Fenagh Drama Troupe’s First Production of The Maiden Aunt
“So funny“ , “side splitting“,  “a great laugh from start to finish“, “ I’m going back to see it again“, “ a tremendous performance“, such were the glowing remarks and compliments of a most appreciative audience as they left Fenagh Community Centre on Saturday, following the Fenagh Drama Troupe’s performance of the hilariously funny 3-Act Comedy Play by Jimmy Keary.   This was the first performance of the newly formed Fenagh Drama Troupe after a 55 year absence. They have set a high standard to follow, hopefully for many more years of drama in Fenagh. Cancelled on Friday night because of the snow, it did not deter the actors or the audience on Saturday night. The Community Centre was packed for the drama group’s auspicious debut. How the performers and audience enjoyed a marvellous night’s entertainment! Avoiding a clash with the annual Ballinamore Drama Festive week, the next performances of The Maiden Aunt will be on Thursday, 15th and Sunday 18th March in Fenagh Community Centre commencing at 8:30pm each night.  Doors open at 7:30pm.  There is no booking so come early to avoid disappointment.  The word is out, this is a play not to be missed!
