 Deepest Sympathy
Deepest Sympathy is extended to the family and friends of the late Susan Cox,  Drumany who died recently. May she Rest in Peace.  There will be a gathering in remembrance of Susan at her residence in Fenagh on Saturday 14th April 2018 between 6pm and 8pm.

Progressive 25
The Winter/Spring League concludes this Thursday night April 12th at 8.30pm in Fenagh Community Centre  with nightly prizes and jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last week’s winners were Gerry Murray and Vincent O’Rourke 6 games each.

Fundraiser
Fenagh Drama Troupe will perform The Maiden Aunt, one more time.  This is a hilarious 3 Act Comedy written by Jimmy Keary.  The show is in Fenagh Community Centre on Saturday 21st April at 8:30pm, Doors open at 7:30pm.  Admission is €10.  Please note that all funds collected will go to the Irish Guide Dogs and Fenagh Defibrillator.

Fenagh Active Age
Fenagh Active Age Group will hold their Annual Social on the 17th of April at the Community Centre Foxfield (next to Fenagh church).  Music by Mark Finn.  Admission 8 euro.  Refreshments will be served and a raffle will be held.  Members of all Active Age groups are very welcome

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun  12-5.30pm (last admission to playarea 4.30pm). Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Art for Adults
Art classes (oil and acrylics) with Noreen Gaffney start April 11th Wednesday evenings 7-9pm for 5 weeks at Fenagh Visitor Centre.  Call 9645590 to register

Baby & Toddler Group
Resumes after the Easter break this Friday April 13th from 10am-12pm at the Visitor Centre.  Ideal for babies and preschool children, all welcome, no need to sign up just come along any Friday morning.

Ballinamore Library News.
Bookings are now being taken for the Basic Computer Course starting in Ballinamore Library running on Friday 13th April, 3pm to5pm. The course is free and will run weekly for five weeks. Booking is essential on 071 9645566. Knitting/ Crochet Group meets every Tuesday morning at 11. New members always welcome.Spanish Classes for beginners continue on Thursdays 6.30 to 7.30pm. All welcome.Kiddies Movie time each Saturday at 2.30pm.  Details of weekly movie available from the library.Tuesday 17th April at 6.45pm Leitrim Astronomy Club Lecture “100 Years of the Irish Aurora Borealis: From Folklore to the Digital Age” speaker Ronan Newman . Admission to all events is free.

Darkness into Light
On May 12th Ballinamore Community School will host their first Darkness into Light 5k Walk, in aid of Pieta House. This event will begin at 4.15am, in darkness, as people walk the 5km route around Ballinamore and finish as the dawn is breaking, journeying together from Darkness Into Light. Sensory Room Open Morning
As part of Autism Awareness Month, staff in Mohill Library will host an Open Morning for its Sensory Room for parents/guardians/carers on Wednesday, 25 April 2018, from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The morning will begin with introductions and refreshments at 10.30am.  Our guest speaker, Carla Flynn (Senior Occupational Therapist) will deliver a presentation on sensory issues and how these affect a child, show the benefits of the sensory room and finally from 12.00pm to 12.30pm the Sensory Room will be open for viewing.For more information or to book your place please contact the Library on 07196 31360.
