Fenagh Active Age
The Group would like to thank Antoinette McLoughlin, Jane and Jim (members of the choir) for providing the music at our recent social; we are very grateful to them for helping us out at very short notice.  Everyone enjoyed the night

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup is enrolling for April 2018.  We cater for children aged 2 years 9 months up to 5 years.  If your child was born between 1st January 2013 to 2nd April 2015 they are entitled to avail of the FREE Pre-school year.  If you wish to enrol your child contact Ceara on 086 3593244  limited spaces are available. 

Cake Sale – Fundraiser
Fenagh NS Parents Association are holding a cake sale in the Community Centre on Sunday May 6th after Mass.  All support appreciated

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun  12-5.30pm (last admission to playarea for one hour play is 4.30pm). Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Face book ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Also visit our website at www.fenagh.com which features lots of information on historical Fenagh, upcoming classes and events, Monk’s Den playtime and birthday rates, and other facilities on offer. Fitness  Classes
Fitness with Julie continues Mondays at 8pm. Yoga with Deniese Thursdays 7pm – classes suitable for all levels. Venue: Visitor Centre

Art for Adults
Art classes (oil and acrylics) with Noreen Gaffney continues on Wednesday evenings 7-9pm for at Fenagh Visitor Centre. 

Baby & Toddler Group
Every Friday morning from 10am-12pm at the Visitor Centre.  Ideal for babies and preschool children, all welcome, no need to sign up just come along any Friday morning.

Fenagh Community Centre

Darkness into Light
On May 12th Ballinamore Community School will host their first Darkness into Light 5k Walk, in aid of Pieta House.This event will begin at 4.15am, in darkness, as people walk the 5km route around Ballinamore and finish as the dawn is breaking.To participate in the event go online to www.darknessintolight.ie.  For the venue make sure to click on “Ballinamore Community School” Online registration only. Volunteers Ballinamore Credit Union
As our Credit Union relies considerably on the enthusiasm, commitment and integrity of its volunteers, we are currently looking for people who would be interested in volunteering for a few hours per month. The Benefits of Credit Union volunteering include: Gaining skills and experience in a professional financial service provider. MAD 2018! 
Music and Dance Summer Camp will take place in Ballinamore from July 9th-13th for girls and boys aged 5-12.  Instruction will take place in a wide range of music and dance genres culminating with a concert on Friday to exhibit to family and friends the weeks work! Connaught Fleadh (Ballinamore) July 7th and 8th. If you are interested in Irish music, song and dance then come along and  enjoy all that the Fleadh has to offer.  We are looking for volunteers for such jobs as car parking attendants, competition door attendants, tea/coffee servers, runners.  E-mail Lorraine  lorrainesweeney2000@gmail.com or contact on 086-863-1785.

You are warmly invited by Ballinamore Parish Pastoral Council and community to join with us for a Padre Pio Healing Mass in Saint Patrick’s Church, Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim on FRIDAY 25th May at 7.00pm. The Celebrant will be Fr. Sean Kelly,OFM  Capuchin Priest from Kilkenny and a native of Ballinamore. There will be a number Capuchin Friars present with Relics of St. Pio for individual blessings after the Mass and confessions will be available throughout the evening.Many healings have been attributed to the intercession of Saint Pio and large crowds always attend the healing Masses dedicated to his life. Blessings will take place after Mass with the relics of Saint Pio, i.e. his mittens that he wore to cover the wounds of the stigmata which he had for 50 years. Everyone Welcome.

namore Area community games is well up and running for 2018 and the hard working committee already have several county titles won!The next area meeting is to plan for the next round of team events, this includes U10 mixed GAA, U-12 Girls GAA and U14 Girls GAA, Outdoor Soccer U12 & U15 and Futsal U13 & U15. Coaches from all areas need to attend this meeting to ensure teams are entered from the area at the forthcoming county meeting.  These competitions will be run off in the coming weeks.
