Fenagh Gaelic for Mothers & Others
Training continues on Thursday evenings at 8.30pm and on Saturday mornings at 11am. We are delighted to welcome so many new members and we hope this trend continues, new members are always welcome, come along and bring a friend. Fenagh Community Playgroup

Fenagh Community Playgroup is now enrolling for September 2018.  Children who are born between 1st January 2014 to 31st December 2015 are eligible to avail of the FREE pre-school year.  There is now only one entry point to the FREE pre-school year which is in September.  There is no longer the option to enrol your child during the school year.  If you wish to enrol your child contact Ceara on 0863593244.    

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun  12-5.30pm (last admission to playarea for one hour play is 4.30pm). Free internet access (Wi-Fi), local newspapers and tourist information available to all visitors. Follow us on Face book ‘fenaghvisitorcentre’. Fitness with Julie continues Mondays at 8pm. Yoga with Deniese continues Thursdays 7pm– classes suitable for all levels. Venue: Visitor Centre

Baby & Toddler Group – End of Session
The group will finish up this Friday June 22nd for the Summer (10am-12pm) and will resume again in September.  Thanks to all who attend and support the group throughout the year and hope to see some new faces in September – there will be a special launch party in September to kick off the new term.

Kid Arts and Crafts Mornings
Thursday and Friday mornings at the Visitor Centre from 10.30am-1pm. 5 euro per child (ages 4-9 yrs). Will run throughout July.  Tel 9645590 for more info. Starts July 5th & 6th.

Dawns Art Camp
Its nearly time to get the rags on and your paint brushes out as it s drawing closer to Dawns Art Camp. With lots of fun and creativity in the mix.  Art is adventure that never ends… so I hope to see you at Dawn’s art camp from the Wed 27th to Fri 29th of June…staring from incoming  1st class (age 7) to 6th class. Junior and Senior camp will be as one adjusting projects according to age. Ballinamore Library News.

Summer Stars programme back at you local library. The popular Summer Stars Reading is back in your local library. It’s a free programme and open to all children.Each child who registers can join in the fun of reading lots of exciting books during the summer. Fun rewards will be provided along the way. At the end of the programme, all children who have participated will be invited to attend our celebratory awards event. Those that have completed the 6 book challenge will have their names entered in a draw for an overall prize.  So don’t miss out on the fun this summer – drop into Ballinamore library and join the Summer Stars Reading Adventure.
Cruinniú na nÓg : A day of Youthful Creativity takes place on Saturday June 23 rd and as part of this there is a morning of “Art with Dawn” from 11am to 12.30pm in Ballinamore library for children aged 6 to 12 years. All welcome.
Unique Art Display.
A Unique Display of positive words put into Art Form, by children of St. Aidan’s N.S. Bawnboy along with art work by the residents of Oak Wood Nursing Home, Beturbet under the guidance of local artist Seane Cassidy will go on display in Ballinamore library on Wednesday 20 th June. This is worthy of a visit and when the display is taken down mid July, it will find a permanent home on the wall space at Cavan General Hospital. Congrats to all involved on a worthwhile project. This can be viewed during library opening hours Mon, Wed and Fri 10am – 1.30pm and 2.30pm – 5.30pm: Tue and Thurs 10am – 1.30pm and 2.30pm – 8pm: Saturday 10am – 1.30pm and 2.30pm – 5pm

‘This is your Life’ show
Takes place in the Community centre Ballinamore on July 12th –  a fundraiser for Lord Mayor of Ballinamore

    ‘This is your Life’ takes place in Community Centre in Ballinamore on Thursday 12th July at 9pm. The subject on the night is very well known and has a connection with all the surrounding parishes. Miss it and regret it.
