Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area, Dolmen Café, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm and Sat & Sun 12-5.30pm (last admission to playarea for one hour play is 4.30pm). Heritage Week 2018Herita
ge Week runs from Aug 18th to 26th this year. Here in Fenagh we will be running our guided tours of the Abbeys and Church of Ireland Aug 23,24,25 & 26th each day starting at 2pm from the Visitor Centre – the events are free on those days and there is no need to sign up. We can also arrange guided tours throughout the year for individuals/groups – they must be prebooked through 071 9645590. Kid Arts and Crafts Mornings
Our popular arts and crafts mornings continue Thursday and Friday mornings at the Visitor Centre during July from 10.30am-1pm. 5 euro per child (ages 4-9 years). Drop-in for moment. Under 4s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Tel 9645590 for more info.

Summer Stars programme back at you local library The popular Summer Stars Reading is back in your local library. It’s a free programme and open to all children. Each child who registers can join in the fun of reading lots of exciting books during the summer. Fun rewards will be provided along the way. At the end of the programme, all children who have participated will be invited to attend our celebratory awards event. Those that have completed the 6 book challenge will have their names entered in a draw for an overall prize. So don’t miss out on the fun this summer – drop into Ballinamore library and join the Summer Stars Reading Adventure.
Wednesday 25th 12.30pm: “A Dog’s Life” Education Officer Paul Cleary from Dogs Trust together with his dog Magic, will deliver a free workshop in Ballinamore Library. This is for children aged 7 – 12 (and their families) Come along and pick up for some tips on dog safety.
Thursday 26th 4.30pm:” Summer Story time and fun” for children aged 7 and under together with their parents.Saturday 28th 2.30pm: Kiddies Movie Time. Admission is free to all events!!
