The Autumn/Winter League continues this Thursday night November 22nd in Fenagh Community Centre, starting at 8.30. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last weeks winners were Brian Wrynn 8 games, Sean McLoughlin and Martin Quinn 6 games each.

Festive Lights – Tesco Blue Tokens
If you shop in Tesco Ballinamore would you kindly put your blue tokens in the Fenagh Festive Lights slot..money raised will go towards the annual cost of providing Christmas lights in the village which will be switched on by Santa himself Dec 8th.  Thank you.

St Catherine’s Church wins Heritage section at National Lottery Good Causes Awards
We hope that you enjoyed watching the National Lottery Good Causes Awards on TV3 on Sunday 11th November.  St Catherine’s Church won the heritage section at the first ever Good Causes Awards that were held in The Clayton Hotel, Dublin.  We very much appreciate all the support that the community of Fenagh and wider area have given over the years.  Special thanks to all of the Committee, Fenagh Visitor Centre, Fathers Pat and Sean who have helped with our fundraising.  Our thanks and appreciation to the National Lottery, Leitrim County Council, Beresford Trust and Allchurches Trust for the grants that helped us to get the Church restored. There are many others who have helped with either a donation, helping or giving of their time.  Without all the combined assistance, we would never have been able to achieve what we have.Thank you to all those who contacted us with their messages and phone calls of congratulations. We hope you will celebrate with us at the (heated!) Christmas Carol Service on Friday 14th December at 7.30pm with refreshments after. With kind regards St Catherine’s Church Committee

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area & Birthday Party Venue, Coffeeshop/WiFi, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours this week : Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm Sat & Sun 12-5.30pm.  For further information call (071) 9645590. 

Fitness Classes
Fitness with Julie continues every Monday at 8pm.  Yoga with Deniese continues every Thursday at 7pm.  Venue for both is Visitor Centre, suitable for all fitness levels.

Fenagh Community Centre

Foroige – Peace ‘Rapport’ Workshop – Ages 15-18
Starts Friday Nov 23rd 7.30-8.30pm at Fenagh Community Centre.  Peace Learning Project – What causes conflict? What does ‘peace’ mean? Join us to explore these issues through film, media, guest speakers and workshops. Together we can find a resolution! Tommy Fleming Christmas concert 
Tommy Fleming and his full band  play st Patrick’s Church Mohill on November 30th @8pm. Admission by ticket only @€30 from Ballinamore Post office,Paul’s of Mohill and Mulveys of Carrick-on-Shannon. Free Digital Classes Ballinamore Library
Starting on Monday 26 th November in Ballinamore library and running daily up to and including Friday 30th November there will be a week of Free Digital Classes on How to get Online. A tutor from Digitise the Nation will provide the classes. Each person attending these classes will receive 10 hours free classroom training. Class duration will be 2 hours per class. Class size is 10. An iPad will be provided for use during each class or if you prefer you can bring your own device i.e. Smartphone, tablet or laptop. Class times 11.30am to 1.30pm and 2.30pm to 4.30pm daily. To reserve a place call the library on 071 9645566

Kevin McManus to launch his latest novel: “9 Lives”
Next Saturday November 24th at 3pm, Leitrim author, Kevin McManus will launch his 5th novel entitled “9 Lives” in the county library in Ballinamore. “9 Lives” is a crime fiction novel. It is the third in the series of Detective Ray Logue Books. “9 Lives” will be launched by the award- winning actor, playwright and Leitrim Guardian, Man of the year: Seamus O’Rourke. It will also be available to download and purchase onamazon.co.uk on paperback and eBook. A limited number of copies will be available in local shops in the county shortly.”

Christmas Market
St. Patricks N.S. Parents Association will be holding a Christmas Market on Sunday 9th December from 12:30 – 3:00pm in the Mayflower Community Centre Drumshanbo. If you are interested in taking a stall, contact Kevin (086) 8101908.
