The Autumn/Winter League continues this Thursday night November 29th in Fenagh Community Centre, starting at 8.30. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last weeks winners were Pat Prior 8 games and Brian Wrynn 7 games,

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup want to thank everyone who contributed to their recent Church gate collections at Foxfield and Gorvagh Churches.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

Festive Lights – Tesco Blue Tokens
If you shop in Tesco Ballinamore would you kindly put your blue tokens in the Fenagh Festive Lights slot..money raised will go towards the annual cost of providing Christmas lights in the village which will be switched on by Santa himself Dec 8th.  Thank you.

Christmas Lights
Santa will switch on the village lights in Fenagh on Saturday Dec 8th at 5.30pm.  His local elves are very busy at the moment putting up lights and getting everything ready for his arrival.  You are welcome to join us for some Christmas carol singing by our local choir before Santa arrives that evening and maybe the man in red will sing along too when he gets here …afterwards Santa will hand out presents to all the girls and boys in the Abbey Bar so make sure you make his nice and not naughty list this year!! Hope to see you all there !

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area & Birthday Party Venue, Coffeeshop/WiFi, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours this week : Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm Sat & Sun 12-5.30pm.  For further information call (071) 9645590. 

Fitness Classes
Fitness with Julie continues every Monday at 8pm.  Yoga with Deniese continues every Thursday at 7pm.  Venue for both is Visitor Centre, suitable for all fitness levels.

Fenagh Community Centre

Foroige – Peace ‘Rapport’ Workshop – Ages 15-18
Continues every Friday from 7.30-8.30pm at Fenagh Community Centre.  Peace Learning Project – What causes conflict? What does ‘peace’ mean? Join us to explore these issues through film, media, guest speakers and workshops. Together we can find a resolution! Tommy Fleming Christmas concert 
Tommy Fleming and his full band  play st Patrick’s Church Mohill on November 30th @8pm. Admission by ticket only @€30 from Ballinamore Post office,Paul’s of Mohill and Mulveys of Carrick-on-Shannon. This is a one in a lifetime concert. A great nights entertainment guaranteed. Get your ticket fast. 

Commemoration of Mary Reynolds TD
A commemoration of the life on Mary Reynolds TD 1889 – 1974, as part of VÓTAIL 100 (100 years since women got the vote) will take in Ballinamore Library, on Friday, 30 November 2018 at 8.00pm. Keynote speaker will be the well know Irish historian, Sinéad McCoole, while MC on the night will be Nóirín Clancy, Chair of 5050. For more information contact the Library at 0719645566. Ballinamore Library
Ballinamore Library in conjunction with Decade of Centenaries presents the following talks on Saturday, 1 December 2018, from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Dr. John Logan will present ‘Ballinamore and the 1914 – 1918 War’ at 2.00pm and at 4.20pm Dr. Padraig McGarty will present ‘The Rise of Sinn Féin and the 1918 General Election in Leitrim’. Each presentation will be followed by a discussion. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome!

Shave Off  
‘Shave Off’ for Grovember in Memory of Seamus Carway takes place on Saturday 8th December in Castledargan Hotel, Ballygawley. There are over 65 men from all over North and South Leitrim, Sligo and further afield getting hairy in Memory of Seamus for Sligo Cancer Support Centre. Please come along to the ‘Shave Off’ night and enjoy entertainment, food, music and lots of spot prizes on the night. Christmas Market
St. Patricks N.S. Parents Association will be holding a Christmas Market on Sunday 9th December from 12:30 – 3:00pm in the Mayflower Community Centre Drumshanbo. If you are interested in taking a stall, contact Kevin (086) 8101908.
