Progressive 25

The Christmas Progressive 25 Card Game was played on December 20th in the Visitor Center. First Prize: A Christmas Hamper sponsored by Baxters Centra Mohill was won by Tom Tiernan. Second Prize: A Turkey/Ham Voucher sponsored by Micheal Scollan Butchers Ballinamore was won by Teresa Ellis. Third Prize: Bottle of Whiskey sponsored by Donohues SuperValu Ballinamore was won by Brian Wrynn. The Autumn/Winter League winners were also presented with their prizes on the night. Joint First: Willie Conefrey and Sean McLoughlin 46 games. Joint Second: Vincent O’Rourke and Martin Quinn 44 games, Third: Johnny McCaffrey 43 games. Fenagh Handball Club would like to thank everyone who sponsored prizes and supported our fundraising efforts over the year. The Winter/Spring league will commence on Thursday January 10th in the Community Centre at 8.30

Senior Citizen Annual Party
Takes place Sunday Jan 6th at 3pm in Fenagh Community Centre – invites have been sent out please RSVP by Jan 2nd 2019 – if you did not receive your invite and/or need transport on the day call committee member at 9645590.

Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area & Birthday Party Venue, Coffeeshop/WiFi, Hall rental/meeting space). CHRISTMAS HOURS: Closed Dec 24th, 25th, 26th Open Dec 27-31st 12-5.30pm Closed Jan 1st Reopens Jan 2nd 10am

The Leitrim Guardian 2019
Is available in shops and online at www.leitrimguardian.ie.  This unique publication contains various articles:  historical, literary, some deal with current affairs of topical interest, maybe tell the story of a famous Leitrim person who may have been forgotten in Leitrim. It also included short stories and poetry, The Leitrim Guardian, an annual publication which started in 1968, is Ireland’s only county journal and has 48 editions published to date. Produced entirely through voluntary effort, the journal is sold nationally and internationally. Please see www.leitrimguardian.ie for further information about the journal.  At only €12 it makes an ideal gift. Your support is greatly appreciated for this historic publication.
