Congratulations to Enda McLoughlin and Susanne Hehle on the birth of their little girl Fiadh on March 13.

National Spring Clean Campaign
Fenagh Tidy Towns are taking part again this year in An Taisce’s National Spring Clean, Ireland’s nationwide anti-litter campaign which takes place during the whole month of April.  We have organised a clean-up on Saturday morning April 6 starting out at the Visitor Centre from 10am.  New volunteers always welcome.  If you can’t make it on the day we will be organising other litter picking sessions over the coming weeks.

Fenagh Drama Troupe
Last year saw the return to the Stage following a 55 year absence of the newly formed Fenagh Drama Troupe.  This year they are back with another hilarious 2 act comedy entitled “Nobody’s Talking To Me” by Tommy Marren.  Set in rural Ireland in the 1960s this play is guaranteed to have you laughing your socks off.  For a night packed with fun and comedy, head to Fenagh Community Centre on Thursday 4, Friday 5 and Saturday 6 April, curtains 8:30pm, doors open at 7:45pm.

Fenagh Active Age
The Group will hold their Social at Fenagh Community Centre on Tuesday April 9 at 8.30pm – Music by Drifting Cowboy.  Admission 8 euro. Refreshments will be served and a raffle will be held.  Members of all Active Age Groups are welcome

Progressive 25 Card Game
Progressive 25 continues this Thursday night April 4th in Fenagh Visitor Centre, starting at 8.30. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last week’s winners were Philip Farrelly 7 games and Tommy Flynn 6 games. Please note change of venue.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area & Birthday Party Venue, Coffeeshop/WiFi, Hall rental/meeting space). Opening hours this week : Mon-Fri 10am-5.30pm Sat & Sun 12-5.30pm.  For further information call (071) 9645590.

“A Celebration of Irish Heritage”.
The students of the QQI Level 5 Business with Tourism course, held at the Further Education and Training Centre – Drumshanbo, The Enterprise Centre, Drumcoora (Hilly Road), Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim. N41 C6X6, and ran by the Mayo Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB) would like to welcome the public to “A Celebration of Irish Heritage”. This free open house event will showcase the students’ discoveries throughout the year, focusing on Irish Heritage and Culture.  Music will be provided by the students of the Traditional Irish Music course.  Refreshment will be catered for by the Hospitality Operations students of the Food Hub, Drumshanbo.  The event will be held on April 10 2019, from 12 to 2pm.  All are invited but please RSVP at vtosleitrim@msletb.ie or text 086-0624200.

Fly Fishing
The mens Irish international trout fly fishing team are coming to Laura Lake. The Irish team are fishing Lough Rowan [ Laura Lake ] on Saturday April 6. Come along and meet the Irish team. All are welcome.
