Big Hello!
The Big Hello is a weekend of community celebration throughout the country
which encourages people to get to know their neighbours and community by
hosting or attending a Big Hello! event
in their local area. Fenagh Visitor
Centre are hosting a Big Hello Afternoon Saturday May 4 from 1-5pm – this is a
free event with activities for kids and adults alike –there will be plenty of
refreshments for all, a trad music session throughout the afternoon, guided
tour to the Abbeys 2.30-3.30pm (weather permitting), etc. Come along on the day, catch up with old
friends, maybe make some new and find out what is happening in Fenagh. Any local artisan is welcome to display their
product/service – just give us a call in advance on 9645590.

Fenagh Community Playgroup
Fenagh Community Playgroup are enrolling for September 2019. If your child was born between 1st January 2015 to 31st December 2016 they are entitled to avail of the FREE pre-school year. If you want to enrol your child contact Ceara on 0863593244 or call in to the playgroup Monday – Friday from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm.
Progressive 25 Card Game
Progressive 25 continues this Thursday night May 2 in Fenagh Community Centre, starting at the later time of 9.00 pm. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last week’s winners were Tommy Mulligan 7 games and Vincent O’Rourke 6 games after a playoff. The winners of the Winter/Spring league were 1st: Lorcan Masterson 48 games, 2nd Pat Joe Greenan 46 games, 3rd Tommy Flynn 44 games, 4th Kevin Foley 40 games and 5th Willie Conefrey 39 games.
Cake & Dessert Sale
Fenagh Parents Association are holding a Cake & Dessert sale directly after Mass on Sunday May 5 in the community centre. All funds raised will go towards Fenagh St Caillins National School. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Gallant Sons – Touring Exhibition from the National Library of Ireland. The exhibition explores the Irish experience of World War 1, at home and at the front. The exhibition has been designed to be of interest to second-level students as well as fifth & sixth class.
