There will be a selection of Yule Logs and Christmas Decorations, all handmade by the pupils from 5th and 6th class of Fenagh NS, on sale Friday December 13th from 8.30am-3pm at the school – all support appreciated

Santa Visit
Santa’s visit which had to be cancelled due to Storm Atiyah has been rescheduled to this Sunday Dec 15th at 5pm in Quinn’s Lounge.  Join in with our carol singers beforehand to soak up the festive atmosphere and give Santa a big welcome as he greets the children and hands out presents. 

Leitrim: History & Society
Copies of this recently launched book Leitrim: History and Society (Interdisciplinary essays on the history of an Irish county – Editors: Msgr Liam Kelly and Dr Brendan Scott) are now on sale at the Visitor Centre

Progressive 25 Card Game
Progressive 25 continues this Thursday night December 12 in Fenagh Visitor Centre, starting at 8.30. League prizes, Nightly prizes and Jackpots. Entry €8 with refreshments served. All new players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. The Jackpot was won last week at 6 games by Tommy Mulligan and Martin Quinn. Vincent O’ Rourke and Niall Scollan finished 2nd with 5 games.

Christmas 25 Card Drive
Fenagh Handball Club are running a 25 Card Drive on Saturday night December 21 in Quinns Bar starting at 9pm. First Prize: €100 Voucher sponsored by Donohue’s SupervaluSecond Prize: Gammon sponsored by Micheal Scollan Butchers, Third Prize: Bottle of Whiskey sponsored by Quinns Bar. Tickets are €5.

Tidy Towns Christmas Hamper
Lines now on sale at Quinns Bar, the Visitor Centre and from Committee members for a Christmas Hamper – all monies raised goes back into Tidy Towns projects.  Your continued support is appreciated. Draw takes place Dec 18

Flower Arranging Class
Our annual Christmas Flower Arranging class will take place Wed Dec 18 in the Visitor Centre at 8pm– bring your own supplies or florist will have some available to purchase on the night.  10 euro entry.  Refreshments served.

Table Quiz

Fenagh Development Annual Table Quiz takes place in Quinn’s Fenagh on Friday Dec 27 at 9pm sharp – table of 4 is 20 euro. This is a Christmas Activities fundraiser.  All support appreciated

Senior Citizen Party
Takes place at the Community Centre Sunday Jan 5th 2020 at 3pm – invites will be sent out before Christmas with RSVP of Jan 2nd 2020.  More details next week

Fenagh Visitor Centre Christmas Opening hours
Fenagh Visitor Centre is open all year round – (Heritage Centre, Indoor Children’s Play Area & Birthday Party Venue, Coffeeshop/WiFi, Hall rental/meeting space). NORMAL HOURS: Mon-Fri 10-5.30pm Sat Sun 12-5.30pm.  CHRISTMAS HOURS: Closed Dec 24,25,26 & Jan 1st. Open all other days over Christmas 12-5.30pm. Come Dancing in Foxfield
The Come Dancing Club will meet in Fenagh Community Centre (Eircode N41 T6H9) on Thursday, Dec 12 with dancing to the sounds of the Micheal Sexton Band, and on Thursday, Dec 19, with music by J&S Sound. Doors open from 9pm, and dancing from 9.30pm to 12 midnight. Come and enjoy!

Women’s Little Christmas Black Dress Ladies Lunch
On Sun 5th Jan in Kilronan Castle in aid of North West Simon Community, tickets on sale from Mary on 087 7708865 or online on Eventbrite. Tickets €45 to include meal & wine. Guest speakers on the day, MC Eileen Magnier from RTE, music afterwards in the Dungeon Bar, Ideal Christmas Gift and supporting a local homeless charity.
