Sympathy
Deepest sympathy is extended to the Leddy family on the recent death of Maura Leddy, Foxfield, Fenagh.  May she rest in peace.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
The Coffeeshop at the Centre has reopened to the public on a takeout/outdoor dining basis for the moment.  Hours will be Tues- Sat 10am-5pm.  We hope to have an update on the reopening of our other activities very soon. 

Fenagh Tidy Towns
The group are back out on Tuesdays at 7pm getting some jobs done – meet at the Visitor Centre – new help always welcome, even if you can only spare an hour it would be appreciated. The competition is going ahead this year with judging done remotely on the strength of the application form submitted. Any queries to 071 9645590. 

Anti-Litter Poster Competition
Fenagh Tidy Towns recently organised an art competition in the National School to create awareness about the negative impact littering has on the environment. The competition aimed to encourage children to take a stand on issues that affect our local area and to remind everyone to Keep Fenagh Tidy. We had a fantastic response to the competition and all entries are currently on display in the windows of our local buildings (Visitor Centre, Community Centre, Quinn’s Pub and the Abbey Bar).  Many thanks to Sinead Ni Thiarnain from Leitrim County Council who judged the entries and to Mary Flynn NT and all the pupils for their fantastic entries.  Winners were Junior Infants Emily Walpole, Senior Infants Sadhbh Mullins, 1st Class Laura Connolly, 2nd Class Darragh Conefrey, Third Class Elizamae Rice-Cripps, 4th Class Ella Crinnigan, 5th Class Ava Reynolds, 6th Class & Overall Winner Aoife Conefrey, Highly Commended Ryan Hargaden, Senan Honeyman,Kenzie Greenan & Katie Kane

Fenagh Foroige Club
Fenagh Foróige Club registration now open for new members starting this September. If you are in secondary school or aged 13+years of age and want to get involved in something in your local community, meet up with your friends out of school or get involved in some of the amazing activities and projects on offer, then why not sign up to Fenagh Foróige. The club will also require parents to help in the support and running of the club. Training and ongoing support will be provided for all volunteers.  Limited spaces are available so it is important to complete the form at https://forms.gle/19uWJhgVWjWZrKZKA
