The Indoor Playarea at the Centre has reopened – playtime and party slots must be pre-booked and adults attending to show proof of vaccination. Hours for now are Tues- Sat 10am-5pm. 25 Card Game
The card game continues this Thursday night November 11 in the community centre at 8.30, with nightly prizes, jackpot and league prizes. Entry Fee €8. New players welcome. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. Last week’s winners were James Gunning 10 games and Micheal Guckian 7 games.
RSS Remembrance Seat
The RSS remembrance seat was officially unveiled in Fenagh New Cemetery recently by Minister of State Joe O’Brien. This seat was prepared by Leitrim Development Company RSS participants in memory of their colleagues Oliver Doonan, Sean Lynch and Sean Goldrick. The seat also demonstrates the skills of RSS scheme participants and their contribution to the community.

Light on the Horizon
After a long absence from the book shops “Light on the Horizon”, Andy Redican’s second book of stories is back in the shops. It can be purchased in Fenagh Visitor Centre. Readers will be delighted that “Light on the Horizon” is back in the shops. With nineteen great stories, set mostly in Co. Leitrim in the 1940s – 1990s. this is a book to savour and enjoy. For older people it will back happy memories. For the youth it will open windows of wonder, shining a light on the times of their parents, grandparents and great grandparents.
