Sympathy
Deepest sympathy is extended to the McGovern family, Castlefore on the death of Bridie McGovern, to Betty Doonan and family on the death of her sister Bridie Gearty, Roscommon and to the Walshe Family on the recent death of Muredach Walshe, Fenagh. May they all rest in peace

Fenagh Publication
As part of its digitisation programme, Leitrim Library Service has recently digitised a number of popular, well researched local parish histories, which are now out of print.  14 parish histories from across the county are now hosted on the website www.leitrimdoc.ie.  Among the rich archive of Leitrim publications is ‘Fenagh: The Church of Ireland Story’ by Padraig Leyden (1989). This enhanced digital access now facilitates the viewing and searching by keyword of these valued publications by all diaspora from the Fenagh area and ensures that they can be enjoyed by a global audience.  Please share this information with your family and friends at home and abroad.

Fenagh Visitor Centre
Opening hours Tues-Sat 10am-5pm. Parties and playtime at the Centre must be pre-booked and adults attending to show proof of vaccination. Ballinamore Comhaltas
Ballinamore Comhaltas are holding a monthly trad session starting Sunday the 16 January in the Island Theatre Ballinamore. The session starts at 6 for beginners then 7pm for intermediate, however all levels are welcome. This months sessions is being hosted by the Fleadh Cheoil winning Kellegher family. 

Leitrim County Council – Hedge Cutting Grant Scheme 2021/2022
This scheme aims to encourage the cutting of roadside hedges /trees along the public road network.  Please note that it is the responsibility of landowners/property owners to cut roadside hedges/trees which are on their property which are along the public road network.    The Grant is €75 per km of roadside hedge/overhanging trees which are cut back.  The minimumlength of roadside hedges to be cut is 1km per application.  Application Forms and full details of this Scheme are available on the Leitrim County Council Website www.leitrimcoco.ie also from the Roads Department of Leitrim County Council -Telephone No. 071 9620005 Ext.
