Fenagh Development Company are recruiting a part-time Community and Visitor Centre Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone to assist in the running of the Visitor’s Centre and Community Centre in Fenagh Village. Duties include: food and drink preparation, cleaning, greeting visitors and tourists and taking bookings. Must be available to work weekends. Contract until end of December 2022. Progressive 25 Card Game
The 25 Card Game resumes this Thursday night January 27 in the Community Centre at 8.30, with the commencement of the Winter/Spring League. Nightly prizes, Jackpot and League prizes. Entry Fee €8. Proceeds in aid of Fenagh Handball Club. 

St Patricks Day Parade
Fenagh St Patricks Day parade is taking place @ 2pm on the 17th of March – Committee AGM is on the 29th of January @8pm in Quinns Bar – new members welcome

Fenagh Publication
As part of its digitisation programme, Leitrim Library Service has recently digitised a number of popular, well researched local parish histories, which are now out of print.  14 parish histories from across the county are now hosted on the website www.leitrimdoc.ie.  Among the rich archive of Leitrim publications is ‘Fenagh: The Church of Ireland Story’ by Padraig Leyden (1989). This enhanced digital access now facilitates the viewing and searching by keyword of these valued publications by all diaspora from the Fenagh area and ensures that they can be enjoyed by a global audience.  Please share this information with your family and friends at home and abroad.

Ballinamore Comhaltas
Ballinamore Comhaltas are holding monthly trad sessions Sunday evenings in the Island Theatre Ballinamore. The session starts at 6pm for beginners then 7pm for intermediate, however all levels are welcome. This months sessions is being hosted by the Fleadh Cheoil winning Kellegher family. 

Leitrim County Council – Hedge Cutting Grant Scheme 2021/2022
This scheme aims to encourage the cutting of roadside hedges /trees along the public road network.  Please note that it is the responsibility of landowners/property owners to cut roadside hedges/trees which are on their property which are along the public road network.    The Grant is €75 per km of roadside hedge/overhanging trees which are cut back.  The minimum length of roadside hedges to be cut is 1km per application.  Application Forms and full details of this Scheme are available on the Leitrim County Council Website www.leitrimcoco.ie also from the Roads Department of Leitrim County Council -Telephone No. 071 9620005 Ext. No. 617 or email roads@leitrimcoco.ie.  Closing Date for receipt of completed Application Forms for this Hedge Cutting Grant Scheme is Monday 31 January, 2022.
