Leitrim Harriers
AGM is going to be held Friday 20 May 8:30pm at
Mitchell’s Bar, Carrigallen, Leitrim. All welcome. Puppy walkers needed: Leitrim
Harriers have a selection of puppies looking to be walked. For those not
lucky enough to have done this before it involves fostering a puppy or puppies
for a period of a few months. During that time the temporary home acclimatises
the puppy to life, getting them used to collar and lead , children etc.
Basically the foster home gives the puppy confidence ready for their new life
in the pack. Often there is the opportunity to name the puppy and the pleasure
of watching your hound enter the pack in the autumn. If you feel you can
support the Hunt in this way please contact James Mee 087 6833457 or Sarah
Grimes 0838130589 . Share with your friends you never know they might just
like to do this!
